Adilas Key Contributors:

Steve Berkenkotter - Main owner and business partner - original ideas, concepts, and training - sales, relationships, dreamer, visionary, custom code, coordinator, builder of the first industry specific skin, and the list goes on. Huge player in the adilas story and timeline. One of the original owners in Moring Star Automotive - where the system came from. There are three known Steve's in the system notes. Most of them are this Steve (99 out of 100 times). He won't admit it, but adilas was his brainchild.

David Berkenkotter - Steve's brother and business partner in Morning Star Automotive. David was a system user and helped us create the adilas quick search. He liked using that feature, the quick search, but it only existed on one page originally. He wanted us to put it on every page. That ended up being in the header. He was also one of the original partners in adilas. Power user in the system. Sadly, he passed away due to cancer.

Shari Olin - Commonly known as "Shari O.". She worked in the accounting department back in the Morning Star days. She has been somewhat of a mother hen to help all of us crazy chickens keep going. She helps with customer support, training, payroll, bill collection, and tons of backend office functions. Major power user. Just being silly, but she can have the mouth of a sailor but the heart of an angel. Part of the adilas admin team and a great friend.

Craig Leitner - Also part of the original Morning Star team. Craig was the automotive floorplan and bank guy. He is a power user in the system and does a lot of bank reconciliation and other tasks. He currently works with Steve and asks as the adilas controller (money flow guy).

Cory Warden - Originally an adilas rep and consultant. Cory become part of the team after being a rep for quite some time. She helps with customer care, client support, project management, and keeping the team on track. She also does all of the news and updates and other training material. Cory does tons of oversight type services for our clients. Power user and part of the admin team.

Sean Carlton - Sean was a manager at a Cannabis dispensary in Colorado that used adilas for years and years until they sold. Steve recruited Sean to help with sales, deployment, and training. Sean brings lots of usage experience. Often, he is one of the helpers if we need to send someone onsite to help with a deployment or training session. Power user.

Brandon Moore - I'm one of the guys that writes most of the developer's notebook entries. Originally, I was hired by Morning Star, the automotive dealership, to help with data entry, accounting, and website stuff. I ended up being one of the main adilas developers and architects. I build content, write code, help other developers and team members, and help with training. Helped start the project back in 2001 under the Morning Star name.

Chris Dunsey - One of the first adilas interns (developers). Helped with a number of projects. Ended up being somewhat of a consultant later on.

Shawn Curtis - Kinda a funny story. He was taking a developer's class at Bridgerland. He knew my brother Russell. He asked to join our developer class and became one of the first interns along with Chris Dunsey. Shawn ended up helping with payroll and other projects. Some of the photo galleries in the system came from Shawn's help. He also worked on the media/content (file upload) pieces. Later on, he did more payroll work and acted as a buddy to Brandon and did some consulting work. We worked together for years and years.

Russell Moore - Russell is my younger brother. Originally, he was added to the group because of his graphic skills. He ended up being a great backend developer and project manager. He has also acted as a trainer and mentor for Brandon along the way. Much of the current system came from projects and efforts that Russell was involved with. He has also been Brandon's AI tutor in recent years. Great help to the system. Huge contribution.

Chris Johnnie - He is an entrepreneur who teamed up with Russell to help create a company called "Adilas For Business" or "AFB". Eventually, both Russell and Chris sold their pieces back to adilas. They were honestly the first ones to really try to run as a white label of adilas. This was back in 2015 and 2016. Chris really helped to push the product to the next level along with Russell's help.

Danny Shuford - Longtime friend of Steve's. Danny helped with some website design, sales, and videos for adilas. He even got into creating custom PDF labels for clients. Light development work.

Marisa Shaw - She is Danny's daughter. Danny brought her to an adilas training event in Denver, CO. Marisa was the star student. She ended up helping with some graphics, flyers, marketing material, teaching, instruction, and planning. Power user. Very helpful.

Shannon Scoffield - Shannon is Brandon and Russell's sister. Her maiden name is Shannon Moore. Huge help and virtual assistant to Brandon. She has helped with training, project management, and content creation. Most of the major content sessions were or have been with Brandon and Shannon working together. When they, Brandon and Shannon, were traveling, Shannon was one of the primary adilas instructors. If she was teaching Brandon was taking notes. If Brandon was teaching, Shannon was taking notes. Power user.

Cheryl Moore - Cheryl is my mom. What an asset. She owns a small business and has owed a few different ones. When we were doing training sessions, she came to every one of them. She asked wonderful questions and was a great supporter. Sometime, I would use her as a test subject - can my mom do this? If yes, we are good. If not, we may need to keep tweaking it. Thanks mom!

Wayne Moore - Wayne is my dad. He was my hiking buddy and more than willing to talk about ideas and concepts on our walks and hikes. He helped out with video stuff and was a great coordinator for making other connections. He worked at Bridgerland (technical college) and helped us get setup with classrooms, computer labs, and other great connections. Huge cheerleader! There is another Wayne, Wayne Andersen, he is a backend developer, systems guy, and database guy.

Wayne Andersen - This Wayne lives in Portugal and helps with all of the backend security, server, and code testing. Major skills, writes code, helps push all of us to new technologies, partially retired but loves to play with tech stuff. If you search for Wayne and it deals with concepts and coordination stuff, that's my dad, Wayne Moore. If you search for Wayne and it sounds like a master backend guy, that's Wayne Andersen.

Alan Williams - One of the lead developer's at adilas.biz. Alan joined us in 2015 and quickly came up through the ranks. Trainer, CTO, team lead, master developer, prototyper, and system architect. Alan has helped with many projects and features over the years. He also helped Brandon with some of the prep work for the adilas lite (fracture) plans and project. Sometimes called "Dr. Alan" by the other developers. Example: This might be a project for Dr. Alan.

Bryan Dayton - Bryan has been one of the most versatile guys on our team. Originally, he joined a development class out of curiosity. He and Brandon live in the same town and know each other from church. Bryan has done more custom code or small system projects than almost any other developer. He also joined the team in 2015. He helps with sales, custom projects, pushing on projects that he thinks will yield a return. Lots of work on the adilas lite and fracture project. Very hard working and versatile.

Dustin Siegel - Developer who helped with numerous cannabis and cultivation type projects. He worked directly under Steve to help with that business vertical. Many of the original pages that Steve built were taken over and remade by Dustin.

Eric Tauer - Developer and custom code guy. Originally, Eric knew Steve and lived in Salida, CO. As a note, adilas is Salida spelled backwards. Eric has a background in database work and data warehousing. Eric has done tons of custom systems for clients. Often, Eric would pioneer certain features or logic, as custom code, and then we would bring those features into the main adilas application.

Garrett Kirschbaum - Adilas intern and then full developer back in 2015. Stressful time of building and expansion. He and others helped run the adilas shop with Brandon's help. Garrett was a great developer and helped us standardize a number of tools and features. He was the first developer to work on sub inventory, back in the day. He also did other projects and helped with some developer management stuff.

Charles or "Chuck" Swann - Charles was an instructor at Bridgerland for web development. He builds custom websites, does amazing mock-ups, prototypes, and is a CSS master (styling a website using code). Chuck worked with Russell to help with redesign work, projects, and vision. Chuck worked fulltime for a number of years and now works and coordinates work done by a small hand-picked design and development team. Anything that needs some design loving gets passed over the Chuck and his small team.

Steve McNew - Friend of Steve Berkenkotter's. This Steve helped prep some whitepaper documents to help with getting adilas standardized and some internal audit type stuff. Mostly white papers and putting things down on paper. He ended up getting hired by the local school district and wasn't able to finish the process, but he got it started. He asked some great questions, and we had some good conversations.

Abby Elkins - Abby is Brandon's daughter. Her maiden name was Abby Moore. Abby, when she was little (10-12 years old) helped with some of the original concept artwork for adilas. Later on, she helped with content for the presentation gallery and then the adilas lite plans (fracture). Currently, she is working graphic artwork for different adilas pages. She's now in her mid 20's and has some awesome art and content skills.

Aspen Moore - Aspen is Abby's younger sister and Brandon's daughter. Aspen helped Brandon with some planning and counseling (mental help). Aspen also did some general business consulting with her dad Brandon.

John Maestas - Developer, backend server guys, and designer. John came to us through Dustin. John was uses as a jack of all trades on the backend and frontend. He did numerous projects, documentation, payroll, and page redesign projects. John was also very help to Brandon in working on the notes and comments on the SWOT analysis document. Many other projects as well. Good vision of the future.

Kiva Berkenkotter - Steve's wife. She helped Steve with various projects and planning sessions. At one point, she was in charge of paying commissions and collecting monthly reoccurring payments. Huge supporter to Steve!

Heather Moore - Heather is Brandon's wife. What a trooper. Cheerleader, support, ideas, and consulting. Huge asset to Brandon (me). Thanks Heather!

Jonathan Wells - Designer and mock-up guy. He helped to map out the system and created a number of deep mock-ups for adilas lite (fracture) projects. Great job catching the vision and putting those pieces into a visual representation. We still refer to his work when talking about fracture (future project for adilas).

Jonathan Johnson - Business consultant from Epic Enterprises. Met with Brandon and Steve in end of 2019 into 2020. Really helped us see some needs and opportunities. Later, helped Brandon with some other consulting when trying to define the fracture plan.

Calvin Chipman - Windows software developer. Calvin also did a bunch of web-based work, database stuff, label printing, and API socket stuff. Calvin was the first developer to use the adilas API's to create a native mobile app for a client. He also built a number of special developer tools used by some of our team to speed things up. He's the tool guy!

Cody Apedaile - Bryan Dayton's cousin, Cody helped with a bunch of JavaScript code and changes. He also spent some time working on the UML diagram for the adilas database. We didn't get things finished, but he was working on a new build your own interface (custom to you) for adilas. We ran out of funding. We want to get back to that project at some point.

Dave Forbis - Dave was the official "high tech gofer". He did a bunch of things. Graphics, project management, brainstorming, planning, sales, and helped with managing developers for the adilas shop. He was another great student. He came to a number of training courses and brought so much to the courses. He was also a big support to Brandon during some rough times.

Josh - There are three Josh's. Josh Wheeler, Brandon's friend and developer. Josh Sagert, developer and adilas user (worked tons on the discount engine), and Josh White, Steve's friend from California. Josh White has brought us a number of bigger leads and bigger players, like franchises, and other higher-end clients. Anything recent is Josh White, from California. He helps with networking, sales, and dreaming of new things.

Suzi Distelberg - Sales, training, and deployment. She also worked with some custom projects and doing step-by-step user guides. She has helped with all kinds of projects and even gone onsite for setups and training. Great asset!

Kelly Whyman - Kelly is Dustin's wife. Kelly was single handedly the best independent sales rep that adilas had. She did training, consulting, and sponsored a number of custom projects. Kelly helped Steve and Brandon with reports, functionality, and other things. She got so good at things, state contracts snagged her up to work at state and multi-state level stuff.

Molly Hennessy - Molly was another independent sales rep and consultant. She had numerous clients and got into doing SOP's (standard operating procedures) and other high-end documentation and training. Molly was an entrepreneur and even started creating some of her own product and services. If you search adilas on google, some of the other results are from Molly. Super creative and a great consultant.

Hamid Karbasi - Developer - He has worked with Brandon doing small websites, training, and small tasks. He currently is a manager at a retail store and brings some managerial type skills to the table. Willing to talk about concepts and how they apply to retail and other environments. He is also lightly helping with some planning for fracture.

Gene Spaulding - Friend, entrepreneur, and businessman. Gene is an old college friend. We had a number of friends in common. He has been a small mentor to me over the years. Way back, before adilas, he helped me get my first business loan for a project that I was working on.

Sharik Peck - Friend, entrepreneur, public speaker, physical therapist, and businessman. Good influence and mentor in ways. Sharik and I used to exercise together back in the day. Many of fun walk, run, and weightlifting session. Learning some conference and training skills from him and his wife. They have done really well pushing their product lines and doing some marketing. Trying to get some ideas.

Bridgerland Technical College - Use to be Bridgerland Applied Technology College. Not a person, but a huge help. This is a local technical college in the Logan, UT, area. Brandon's dad, Wayne, worked there. Tons of assets. They provided classrooms, training options, computers, and even an small incubation spot (starter office space) for the adilas shop during the startup phase. Huge asset!

McCorvey's Pro Shop - Also known as Bowling World. Client that had multiple locations. The started out with around 30 and grew up to the 90+ location level, all using adilas. Long time client.

Emerald Fields - They were the first client that wanted their own fully dedicated box and server. They had multiple locations and requested some custom code, reports, and features.

Beaver Mountain Ski School - Client that we helped them track their ski school (snow sport) lessons. Students, instructors, classes, and schedules. Custom interface dealing with elements of time and flex grid.

Bear 100 - This was the first event or annual event client that we did. They used the system for about a week each year. They had 350+ runners and their families that would be on the site for multiple days straight. It was a 100 mile running race with 13 aid stations and a small social portal for the family and friends to watch their runners. This one was special as it had custom input options to upload CSV files to populate the database vs normal HTML form field entries. Records were sent in batches from remote places to adilas for storage and race progress.

High Valley Bike Shuttle - Online ecommerce and scheduling client. They also have a cafe and small retail store. Fun online scheduling and bulk flex grid projects.

Herbo - Mike Roundtree, owner of Herbo, was the first company to do a small white label of adilas. Mike has been a great asset to Steve and the two of them have worked on projects, plans, and dreams. Herbo also has a custom payment solution that they are trying to market and get rolling. Mike has been a great supporter for years. He is also a certified CPA and that credential helps us and him. We would like to get other CPA's on board as well. Thanks Mike!

Nxtlinq AI - AI assistant. These guys really pushed us to get an AI agent inside of adilas. Tons of development took place and lots of prep stuff. We wanted to do a 3-part plan for integrating AI. 1. Teach it how to navigate using the AI quick search (check - done), 2. Teach it all things adilas. and 3. Teach it how to be clear up at the consultant type level. We only got the first phase done. Lots of other plans and such, but we ran out of funding.

Grok AI - Steve loves using Grok. He has built a number of image generation options inside of adilas. He is also working with Grok to feed it data to help with analytics and AI insight. This is not finished yet, but we may end up using Grok as an AI assistant inside of adilas. We have simple and emerging connections available right now but need to really polish things up before going live with the AI assistant options.

ChatGPT AI - We have started using ChatGPT to help with code, explanations, explore resources, planning, and help with training and flow for people and other AI bots. Currently, Brandon, Steve, Bryan, Alan, Josh, Russell, Chuck, and Wayne are using AI in either ChatGPT chat sessions or some other form of AI. We have some using Copilot, Gemini, Claude, etc. AI is actually helping in many ways. ChatGPT is a big one for use. Anyways, they are earning their place in the adilas key contributors list.

There are so many more that I can't list. Developers, users, power users, reps, consultants, trainers, clients, accountants, friends, family, and even critics. They have all helped out the idea farming process and progression. Good stuff! We couldn't have done this alone. It takes a community to do what we are doing.

Shop 4008 Custom emails for Chris Johnnie 9/18/2018

Setting up some custom adilas email addresses for a client. This allows them to email out of adilas and then we place some forwarding options on the account to make all replies hit another outside email account. Kinda some smoke and mirrors.

Shop 3759 Meeting with Steve and Chris Johnnie 5/16/2018

Meeting with Chris - rough budgets - Gift cards (3,500 - 5,000), coupons (1,500 - 3,000), loyalty points, rewards, and virtual punch cards (1,500 - 3,000)

Chris wanted to make sure we got his other details from Russell. Chris is looking for timeframes. We went over what Russell passed over to us on element of time # 3742.

Steve jumped on and started talking monies and strategy for repayment. Possible white label options - going forward. Chris has been a great asset and contributor for years now. The goal is to get the developers funded and pushing on the projects with minimal side tracks (focused). We are looking at $2,000 this month and then $2,000 next month. That would be a great start. Whatever Chris throws over, we'll put it on the balance sheet and then pay it back out at $1,000 per month. Steve will enter things in and then send Chris a screen shot of what was booked.

Different topic - competing with Air B&B - booking timeshares, rentals, reservations, etc. All kinds of people put up their properties and then let it get scheduled out, paid for, and reserved. This seems to be the new way people are booking their vacations and travel. Basically, people have the items (camper trailers, cabins, houses, apartments, condos, etc.) and are willing to rent them and let others use them.

Affiliate programs and referral programs - more extended options - it could go all kinds of ways and get pretty deep. This could also tie into coupons, discounts, campaigns, and even rentals and reservations. Steve and Chris were talking about taking Air B&B type concepts and mixing that with affiliate programs and referral programs.

Shop 3742 Adilas Time 5/14/2018

Working on adilas ecommerce pieces and training details.

Morning meeting. Steve was working on code. I was updating adilas ecommerce stuff. Russell came on and reported on some of his projects.

Information from Russell and Chris Johnnie about coupons, loyalty points, and gift cards.

- Gift cards - be able to get a random number and put it onto a card. The random number makes it harder for someone to use another card (security issues). He needs to be able to scan it and see what is on the card. He also needs a spot to scan the card and have it use that as a payment option. It needs to go full circle. They need to be able look things up, add to it, take away from it, and view levels. Both tied to a customer and not tied to a customer (generic card). Be able to use this in both the normal secure cart and the ecommerce cart. Easy to load card.

- Punch cards - every cart that is $15 or more is eligible. If the cart is a counter sale, they could be prompted to sign-up if they want. Once they are in, the points would automatically accumulate based off of the rules. Once they get to a certain level, say 15 points, they get $10 off of the purchase. They want it really automated and almost a non-thinker type process. They want a quick interface to allow for the sign-up process.Just to recap Notification when a customer is eligible, notification when a customer has points they can redeem. Customers can choose how much they want to pull out. They must pull out blocks of points at a time. For example they have to pull out 15 Points to get $10 off. They cannot pull 10 points and get $7.50 off.

- Coupons - add, edit, copy, delete (permanent hide status), details - coupon code, coupon text or description, quantity, status, type ($'s off or % off), usage (unlimited, limited amount, unlimited no additional discount, limited amount no additional discount) , customer limit, specific item or part id, status (blocked or open or deleted), minimum value to activate, etc. See Russell's page afb_coupons_rules_logic_settings.cfm - branch ram-42. See the link below for the spreadsheet planning.

10 - 1 with Eric - planning out the loyalty points and special accounts.

Estimated amount Chris is willing to contribute

Gift Cards

$3500-$5000

Puch Card

$1500-$3000

Cupons

$1500-$3000

We talked quite a bit about using the builders and logic (part of the UI) as the master options. The builders might be things like locations, part categories, customer types, and even the item or part id level. Lots of field names and lists to  help us make and generate the rules.

We do have a more complicated issue when we do cross-corp loyalty points. These cross-corp things struggle with pre-calculated totals and such.

We talked about migration paths and getting existing customers into the basic loyalty points as well as getting new customer using our basic adilas loyalty points.

User communities - who wants to join up and put a list of priorities together. We then work and prioritize these features and get them in place as soon as possible.

As part of the conversation, I gave Eric permission to run with the basic loyalty points. He will get a plan ready and then re-present it back to me before going into the coding stage. Good stuff and trying to remove as many obstacles as possible.

Shop 3734 Adilas Time 5/8/2018

On the morning meeting with Steve and Russell. They were talking about how Bridgerland could help with outside development and doing smaller projects. Part of the puzzle is how we empower our users. It is so important to empower our users at the level that they need (go to the source). That is a huge core concept.

Taking the email options out to the bulk level and also allowing users to make the email come from their own servers.

As the guys were talking, I was doing some research on the old adilas website. Lots of good PDF files, help files, graphics, and flyers. Here is the old website link: https://data0.adilas.biz/old_index.cfm

Eric wants to talk about coupons and loyalty points. We talked about a guy named Chris Johnnie and some prior planning that may have been done by Russell and Chris. We are trying to pull things together and make everything happen.

From Eric - It is so expensive to keep stopping and starting - we lose tons in the transitions. We need to focus and stay on track.

Eric was expressing some concerns about sub inventory on the production side of things. Steve chimed in and was talking about how some people don't even know what else is possible and already built. The trail is faint and many people have been gone in different directions. We need to define the best path and then help educate others to play the game.

Manufacturing is a whole new level - You have raw goods being made into finished goods. Lots of internal flipping and tweaking. You need bill of materials, sub assemblies, recipes, other tracking needs, etc. We talked briefly about parent inventory and sub or child inventory. Some of the big needs come when they have sub assemblies and use semi raw goods and then push it into another finished good or product. You have to be at the sub level in order to really track that information. It gets into sub locations and sub phases and all kinds of other subs. In the background, we are seeing the _Z coordinate (depth and stacking) coming more in to play.

We are having a number of clients that are fighting against change. Some of the subjects are the way the one-to-many relationships are setup and what the individual people think should be the best option. Some of the questions are things like - one PO with multiple line items or one PO per one line item. Which one holds the location and how do you move things around. They want to group things but also be able to move things independently. They need both... basically, I'm part of this group but I also play over here and here. Very interesting.

This is a side note, but we end up spending so much time managing our customers because they all want to chime in and say what they feel is the best. Custom is awesome but it can also get us in trouble. Custom is really easy on existing and established pieces. One of the main problems is when we get into uncharted territory, people have all kinds of ideas and what things would work best. Once the trail is set and people are using it, they tend to go with what is already there unless we make it too hard. When the trail is not fully established, it turns into the wild west (anything goes) really quickly.

Once people get what they want, they tend to want to get to it quicker. They also want more. This could be more options, more control, more access, more of almost everything. They basically get addicted to data and ease of use.

Steve was doing a demo on sub phases, sub groups, and sub locations. Lots of using elements of time and special flags and tags to track all of the details.

One thing that will help people is showing them how to get back to their details and data. We (developers and power users) know things well enough that we pop through screens, skip steps, and go really fast. A new user is watching and they just get lost. So many moving pieces. It hasn't been smoothed out and/or standardized yet to really make it manageable and easy to understand. We either need to slow down and/or make the path more direct and discernible. Make it obvious and straight forward.

A note for us... We can use these subs to hold the sub details and sub data. We need to show things in very general levels and make it look simple unless the user wants to get clear down to the lower detail level. Think of the world building graphics that have universe level, world level, location level, group level, individual level, and the underlying data level. We need to allow the users to navigate at whatever level they feel most comfortable. We need all of the deep, deep, sub data, but that may be too much detail for some people and/or users.

There will be a greater and greater needs for mini conversions and how that effects things. Steve has already done quite a bit of work on the custom/build_complex_labels.cfm page. We need to use that as a great starting place. Lots of moving pieces. It goes like this... You have to have a parent item. Parents have subs or children. Those children then get broken down into smaller pieces and sub packaged. That is mini conversions.

We keep pioneering small little projects and getting some testers and people who keep pushing on things. Adilas is literally a giant testing environment and a virtual idea farm. We keep planting and harvesting ideas. They just keep coming.

Going back to manufacturing - there are tons of batches, sub batches, lots, and even reprocessing and repackaging pieces. We need to keep defining the road and helping the people who will be coming down the road later on. Kinda like Eric was saying... We need to focus and get pieces done and standardized - we get pulled in so many different directions. We lose a ton in the transition and switchover between projects. It gets very expensive and takes a ton of time and energy. In manufacturing, they often will set up an assembly line for a certain run... They then run that product until it is done. If they had to switch lines (assembly lines) every couple of hours, they would have tons of down time. Maybe we need to do similar type things. Make a plan and then work your plan.

The other gem is using the people who know it... get the reps and the clients together that know what is going on.

Flow - We can link all kinds of stuff together. That is a whole other level. If we can get the job done and get the person to the correct next step, we can help them keep moving forward. It comes down to flow and planning. Steve wants Dustin to help with some of that flow. Steve's words... "we need to train the system". That helps the whole thing go better. Dustin's words were... "the system almost needs rails". They then talked about wizards, steps, and showing a logic path and where they are on that legend or helping them know what is next and where things are at. Walk them through it. This could be crumb trails, legends, wizards, etc. Good stuff.

Shop 3516 Russell Time 2/21/2018   Meeting with Russell and Steve and Chris Johnnie over a Zoom session. We started out with Steve pitching... as we, at adilas plan, we would like to get Russell's input. He could really help. We then each took turns and talked about what we would like to get out of the relationship. Steve talked, Brandon talked, Russell talked, and Chris chimed in.

- Who gets what and what are the ownership levels?

- Who sales what? Who does the demos?

- If we are spending money, where is that going?

- Russell thinks that adilas needs to maintain the control.

- Lots of fun back and forth conversations. Lots of good comments and no where near as heated as yesterday.

- How can we bring it back together and just be adilas?

- Steve's idea of making adilas into a living trust where nobody owns adilas. We all just play together. One big organism and virtual family.

- Steve was pitching Chris on the fact that eventually, he, Chris, may end up just selling adilas vs chasing tons of outside businesses and outside investments. Kinda fun.

- What are the proposal elements from Russell's and Chris's side of the puzzle? From Russell - Chris gets his 5 systems for free for life. Anything he puts in, money wise from here on, will go on the balance sheet. Russell would like some numbers on the balance sheet and some flexibility to work his magic. Russell's balance sheet number is $40,000 (what he expects as a fair price for what he has in the cooker - projects that are already developed). This would be a no interest account and then paying it down $1,000 per quarter or $4,000 a year.

- Just for fun... add an "e" on the end of the name - adilas-e. The "e" stands for "eventually". Somewhat of an inside joke. The word eventually has almost become a dirty word... :)

- It would be so cool if the system could sell itself and even demo itself. That would be really cool.

- Adilas is like a farm for ways for starting new businesses. It has so much to offer, you could go in all kinds of directions. And the system runs deep and can really help businesses go forward.

- Russell's word - dependables - and making everything work and play together.

- Other things that Russell would like to do are: Marketing, making videos, education, and helping with sales.

- On payments going out... We will book the entire amount - say 6% of gross sales - then we will pay it out in smaller amounts. This will help with cash flow. Maybe even give Russell some signed checks and let him print his own checks. Just like printing your own money.

- Steve was hoping that Russell would catch the vision along our line of vision.

- It seems like AFB is looking for a piggyback ride.

- The sales of the new tools are already falling on adilas.

- If needed, we could play hardball. That is not our goal.

- Our plan was to try to stretch out and get more help.

- AFB is so strategic that it almost seems like we are not the same team.

- Normal 3rd party deals are 70/30 or 80/20, where we keep certain percentages.

- Possible options... withdraw the offer - we also need to say stop on all future building. No more meetings, no more free time. What about what already exists? They want a type of a buyout. Time is hard to calculate a cost on. We need to negotiate on what will happen in the future. No more power play... if you want to build something else... feel free, but it will be on your own servers. We put a value on what has been done and then start working toward that value.

- If we want to bring time into the negotiations, we could play the game. We have Steve time, Brandon time, Shannon time, Shari O. time, David time, Alan time, etc. We also have system usage from Chris Johnnie that could be brought into the puzzle.

- Steve is trying to teach a practical business lesson. Looking at the whole picture.

- We could present them with a couple of other options.

- We really need to be on the same team.

- We have an abundant model. We can get others to fill the positions.

- We have a reoccurring revenue model. We are a valid solution for companies and it works.

- We need a graphic designer.

- Option 2 - Close out AFB and transition into plain Adilas (same team). We figure out the value and then figure out the payback options. This could be monthly revenue percentages and free usage of the system for Chris Johnnie. It could also be some number that gets put on the balance sheet. We may want to explore some of these options. We are offering Russell an awesome reoccurring model. This is a percentage forever. That is the payout.

- We need to close down the AFB mine shaft. No more side projects. If they still want to play along those lines... we need to separate them into a valid 3rd party solution.

- If we can separate Russell from AFB, we may want to play. If not, we'll go somewhere else. We need somebody who is fully on our team. This is a marriage type relationship.

- A couple of questions for Russell - Can he play at the same level as Steve or Brandon - meaning how we work together? Can you compromise (in a good way) and work with the team? Are you willing to talk things out vs just jumping in and pushing forward? We don't want any underhanded strategies going on... We are all on the same team.

- We are virtually offering Russell a key spot in this company. Does he want to play? Yes or no.

- We are hoping that Russell will see what we have offer and jump on. If it comes down to it, we will pick Alan over Russell due to how easy he is to work with us and jump in and play the game.

- We are being pioneers in the business world. We are ok with that.

- There are a number of new things coming... new technologies that will take over and take jobs from employees. We are seeing more things being headed into small strategic teams or groups. More things than we can even see now.

- There is a hidden cost to managing some of these things. It takes time to make decisions and help mange things.

- SSC or Start, Stop, Continue - This is way or method of dealing with things.

- If Chris and Russell want to bring in new monies... we need to play in new ways. We need to keep it on a 3rd party level.

- Planning the wedding vs planning the marriage. Look out to the future and make plans out further than the current event or meeting.

After the meeting with Steve, I called Newtek and got put on hold for almost an hour. While on hold, I was printing checks and running sites and code to check on email settings and options. The guy from Newtek helped me out and we, in theory, got the adilas email problem fixed.

As a side note, you should see the adilas payables (monies owed to other parties). This is the cleanest and smallest it has ever looked. Pretty cool.

Shop 3513 Russell Time 2/20/2018   On a Zoom session with Steve and Russell. Our original goal was to talk about upping the percentage for Russell and AFB from 3% of gross sales to 6% of gross sales. This was to help get Russell more onboard and helping us on more internal projects. As we got into things, the whole subject expanded and we got into somewhat of a heated discussion on who owns what, who gets to claim what, and how to make the transition as smooth as possible. I don't know if we meant it or not, but a number of the topics ran deep and had an underlying theme of AFB vs Adilas and how to virtually buyout AFB so that we could all go forward together, as the same team. See the attached graphic for some of the topics of the conversation.

These are in no special order, but here are some of the subjects:
- We could split the 6% in any way that was needed... 1% for Chris, 5% for Russell, 3% for AFB, 3% for Russell, or any other combo.

- Russell wanted to know what our plan was for either an investment or a buyback or payback for pieces and projects that have been completed.

- We talked about possible options of putting some of the investment monies on the balance sheet and how that would work. Bascially, AFB would have to invoice Adilas for the sale of certain features and then Adilas would have to have that as a short-term payable or a long-term payable.

- We talked about how to possibly treat water under the bridge (real monies and invested time). We also talked about how to treat future projects and investments.

- Steve made the comment - This is a long term play.

- There was tons of talk about what has been gained by the existing relationship. This took on many forms and talked about physical monies changing hands, training, tools, business benefits, our system and providing services to Chris Johnnie without being paid for those services, and many other topics.

- We went over some of the early promises that were made and/or implied by Brandon, back in early 2015. Some of those subjects were: you guys build it, you can keep it. You guys can have free systems and free access to the new tools, and how to we treat Chris? Is he part of the family or is he an outside investor?

- We talked about ways that Russell thought that things could be settled. Some of these were different topics, but just listed here for reference: Some kind of a virtual buyback or buyout to help Chris with his investments, Free systems and non-3rd party tools for X number of years (small limits), If new systems come on, what does that mean?, At what point do we reach a virtual payout or buyback?, And maybe setting a limit on the free systems and tools to the existing 5 systems.

- We also talked about how much of a monthly service Chris is getting by being able to use the system for free currently. We estimate that he is getting close to $1,000 a month worth of free services.

There were a number of other topics, but that is a small recap. The meeting ended still lightly hot and we determined that we would meet again and try to come to a decision. Everybody is running hard and there are some outside variables that were adding to the stress.

Shop 3285 Adilas Time 12/28/2017   Talking with Steve on the morning GoToMeeting.
- Concepts of a trust and who owns what...
-- What about founders, co-founders, dependables, etc.
-- How do we bring people into the family or inter circle?
-- How do we let people go?
-- How do we pay people?
-- Defining the model
- Being a business solution like playing in social media - come learn about what adilas does
- The use of the word dependables
- Outside parties need to build on the main core platform
- We are all standing on the shoulders of giants
- We are working on a dynamic working model - we want to keep pushing that thing forward
- What about multiple people trying to do similar projects at the same time? How does that play out.
- Like landing an airplane... if you can hit the correct pattern, great, hit it. If not, just circle back around and try to line it up again. Basically, if you miss a pass, just do it again until it lines up. It is ok to make multiple passes.
- Eric and his pricing engine
- Russell and Chris Johnnie on their AFB stuff
- Calvin and his email and text messaging stuff
- There are a number of huge pieces that need to be nailed down and pulled in... they are things like adilas world, adilas market, and adilas university.
- We want to keep pushing the adilas monthly up so that we could push more monies around to our dependables and other outside 3rd parties.
- We may need to talk with some of our outside parties and figure out how to structure things. How can we join up and roll things together.
- On the billing, we need to setup some standards for who bills, what percentages get kept and/or paid back
- Put the monies into the payables and then allow some of our guys to go in and print their own checks.
- If their payables go over a certain amount or certain age, we move it to the balance sheet
- Define the core of adilas a little bit deeper
- What are the ground rules and how to play the game.
- We are seeing that our people want a level of trust and/or consistency - expectations and such
- Like a volcano, inside the circle, outside the circle, how do people move between things, how do we manage complacency and/or lack of motivation
- How can we help them (our players) see the bigger vision
- Danny Shuford - We are a business solution for solution minded people
- The Adilas API sockets will be coming more into the main picture. If we really push this out, we could harness so many more developers. We could really define what is available and what is possible. This is part of the Adilas platform and how it could work.
- We can help steer the ship
- The code is one of a thousand possible options. The concepts we are built upon are really worth way more than the actual code.
- Steps to success - telling and catching the story - allocate some time to this project - what have we learned and applied along the way

Shop 3240 Adilas Time 12/4/2017   On the morning GoToMeeting session with Calvin and Steve. We spent the first little bit doing some catch-up and talking about new and upcoming pieces and projects. We talked lightly about budgeting and told Calvin to send us a bill for a couple more thousand to keep things going with the sales tax expansion project.

After that, Steve had me merge some files for him. Them we all split up and did some clean-up and catch-up stuff.

All of us bailed out of the GoToMeeting session and joined Russell on a Zoom session. Russell was showing off the AFB quick employee time clock and the new email settings. There were 9 people on the Zoom session. Some of them were: Calvin, Steve, Danny, Chris Johnnie, Russell, Molly, Shannon, Shari Olin, and myself. Great meeting and I love how well AFB is creating new tools and then making sure that they get noticed, good training, and even some marketing efforts. Good stuff.

Shop 3109 Adilas Time 10/26/2017   On the morning GoToMeeting session. We started out by talking about updates and getting Alan to help with the sales tax expansion project. We got him online and lightly ran over the project. Wayne Andersen came on and we went over some new getters, setters, and customer object stuff. He is working on his QuickBooks import tools. They are coming along and he is making some good progress.

We then got on a conference call with Paul from Green Stock - Supply Track Chain Software. Chris Johnnie was also on the call. Here are some rough notes from the call.

- We still need to fix the sales tax issue for Canada. Each providence gets to decide what they want to do.

- The tax revenue is the key. Each entity wants to get their share. That is a huge driving factor. It affects inventory levels, sales, receivables, payables, and other accounting branches and pieces.

- We talked about training dollars and having states, counties, and providences help pay for that - they are willing to throw monies in that arena.

- The sales tax expansion project is at the top of our list to get done.

- Funding monies and who gets what and how do we book things?

- We don't have any zones (talking about adilas sales). If you set things up, you could service leads from any area - Spain, Canada, US, etc.

- Being able to create jobs. That is a big hot button for government agencies. If you spun up an instance of adilas in Canada or some other country, you would be looking at over 100 new jobs in IT, consulting, sales, training, setup, etc.

- We have been rolling out tons of new interface enhancements, custom code, features and functions.

- Adilas has an independent model. We need more people and/or teams who want to play. We talked about a 30% overall profit margin to help estimate costs and such. We talked some commissions, numbers, and setup fees.

- The new servers need to be setup in a cluster type environment. We need data servers, content servers, etc.

- Consolidated reporting to government agencies. If you have all of the data in one place, you could really create a very customized system. Think of the power of having one system doing the whole thing. You would still want checks and balances, but you could really cater the whole thing to be whatever you wanted.

- Steve pitched an Adilas super training facility - in a major city - people come and get trained - they bring money in - it provides jobs - and brings people to the major cities and such. The major cities have restaurants, hotels, air ports, transportation, etc.

Towards the end of the meeting, we got a hold of Alan and recruited him to help me with the sales tax expansion project. He will start Monday and we'll tag team it. After that, I spent about half an hour doing emails and trying to get updates out to other parties.

Shop 2679 Adilas Time 6/1/2017   On the morning GoToMeeting session. The first two hours were working on mini conversions. This was Steve, Eric, and myself all working and talking together. We were planning out database pieces and running through ideas and scenarios. We ended this section by giving Steve a small assignment to work on the mini conversion template level - first two database tables. he was going to be working on some ideas and concepts over the weekend.

The second couple of hours were with working with Steve and Russell and I talking about things and where they are at. This got into a fairly deep conversation. We started out by setting up a light agenda... The first four main points were: our efforts (AFB and adilas), mini conversions and related items, other projects coming down the pipeline, and level of clearance. As we got into it, we only touched on the first topic and spent the whole there.

See attached for some of the notes. There is also a small graphic that started the conversation out and where we could go. The graphic pitched the ideas of how AFB and adilas could either start the merge process and/or create a more distinct separation between the two entities. Basically, Russell and Chris Johnnie have been making enough waves that they are getting noticed. That was their goal. They have virtually tapped into some key elements including controlling the look and feel, ecommerce, new settings, the adilas market, and small taps into the adilas university area or space. We talked about the current state and how that could be altered. As we pitched the ideas, Russell played back and I took notes.

To start off with, Steve mostly listened as Russell and I laid out some different plans and options. We were both laying out pros, cons, and virtual wish lists on how we could merge and blend things together. Topics ranged from goals, to buyout options, to who will take care of what. See attached for more details. Russell was very open and virtually laid out some of his ideas and strategy on where he was headed and why. After all of that, Steve started talking more and we have tons of notes from what he was saying. The gist of it was that adilas would like to restructure things into more of an overarching trust type option and then roll forward from there. Steve was pitching ideas on how we could come together as a single stronger entity.

We talked numbers, financials, and options. Super fun talk. We ended the meeting by Russell and Steve saying let's meet and talk again tomorrow. Russell would like a certain level of power or influence over certain subjects. It was fun to see how certain things were playing out and seeing options where we could go. All parties left the meeting excited about more similar talks tomorrow.

Shop 2660 Adilas Time 5/30/2017   On the morning GoToMeeting session. Most of the entire session was talking about where do we want people to go and how much control is needed on the adilas side and on the other 3rd party sides. Lots of good talks back and forth.

- We had a meeting with Green Stock and Adilas Branding to go over some things. This was Steve and I along with Paul from Green Stock. We spent a good half and hour and both parties pitched and summed up where they are at. As a side note, they (AFB Branding) kinda snuck through the backdoor via an association with Chris Johnnie from AFB. We just cleared the air and laid down some light playing rules.

- After the Adilas Branding meeting, we took some time and started talking about our vision and what the future holds - where do we want to go? It comes down to a control issue.

- Training and who can train who?

- We need to help standardize things. Expectations - a virtual cookie cutter type scenario.

- We are in a deep industry - a new comer won't know what to do. There are other parts of the business that are required.

- We may need to go backwards and reclaim some control and standardization.

- Even on AFB (Adilas For Business), Adilas Products, Adilas 420, Adilas Branding, etc. No one knows where the lines are. There is a level of confusion that comes from sharing the name "Adilas". We may need to protect that more.

- On a hosted solution level, we are seeing that the more the states require certain reporting needs, the more it helps push a web based hosted solution. The Cannabis industry has really helped to push that ball forward. They have tons of state required pieces and API socket interfaces to share data back and forth.

- Steve and I talked about what other verticals do we want to play in? What about building out packages and such? Then focus on those pieces and sell to those verticals.

- We may want to build a report per industry that shows who is using sub inventory and who is using the new snow owl theme. Those who are not using those pieces (for some industries), they may end up going off the system. Lots of new features and functions are built off of those pieces. If they are in certain industries, and aren't using the newest pieces, they may be getting frustrated and/or missing some new key pieces. Basically a report, who is still running the oldest models and who has not progresses along with us.

The remainder of the meeting was all dealing with levels of control, options, and direction. Lots of good conversations. On a side note, some of the crazy storms we have been having, could be put to rest if we were able to set some ground rules and get some buy in on those rules and principles.

Shop 2562 Russell Moore 5/11/2017   On a Zoom session with Russell. We merged in a small tweak for a client on the adilas 3rd party page. We then started to work on some new email settings and such. Russell and Chris Johnnie wanted to send links to the ecommerce invoices and quotes instead of the older PDF invoices and quotes. Russell and I worked on two new settings and cascaded them throughout the system. We did lots of testing and even added in a link for unpaid invoices and online bill pay options. When we got all done, we pushed up the new code and did some live testing. Good session.

Shop 2481 Adilas Time 4/13/2017   On the morning GoToMeeting session. Meeting with Russell, Steve, and Chris Johnnie. We started out going over some new progress and some new drag and drop look and feel stuff. Both Steve and Russell are working on some of the new look and feel pieces.

We then jumped into a conversation about the state of affairs within the adilas world and environment. There are a couple of different resource piles (monies, people, and features). We are all double dipping and no one controls the inflow and outflow of the different resource piles. We need to work on an incoming project process. Basically, we are lightly talking about job costing and managing those assets. We need a funnel and/or process to help manage this stuff.

We are seeing a big need for some internal communication tools to help things be more effective. We then talked about the size of the adilas family. Russell was saying, If we have enough for 6 members but have 10 members that we want, it becomes painful for all. We may need to cut back.

S.M.A.R.T. goals - Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time bound. Russell also likes to add some flexibility and dynamic aspects to the smart goals. Just like a strict budget, you have to allow some flex, otherwise you won't ever hit the goal.

As a company and a team, we may need to focus on one industry at a time. We may have to cut things back. Sometimes, that is really tough and plays on the emotions.

On a different note, us having communications (talking about some of these things) is already helping all of us. We need to keep doing this. Maybe roll back to the old list of projects and go through it and prioritize things. We could then work on one or two projects at a time vs. 10 to 20 projects all at the same time. That would be a lot easier to manage vs. what we are doing right now.

We aren't worrying about tons of money and funding. We would rather be working with people we want to be working with and building out our internal family.

We may need to allow our clients and customers to choose if they want to be part of our client base. There will be many who don't like what we do and/or how we do things. That is ok. This is an abundant model.

We don't like to owe monies to other people. We may need to turtle up and wait things out a bit.

After the meeting with Steve, Chris, and Russell, I spent the rest of time working with Eric on the sub queues and sub customer queue options. We spent the entire time working through the logic and actions to help with the actual add/edit sub queue page. We finished up everything except for the deeper testing on that page.

Shop 2047 Adilas Time 12/12/2016   On a GoToMeeting session with Steve. We talked about direction and where we want to head in the coming months. We also looked over the adilas YouTube media/content player, we setup a cannabis specific site (just the folders and rough structure), and we also talked about training events.

Steve would like us to strip off the code from the https://data0.adilas.biz/top_secret/community_funded_projects.cfm page and start being able to collect monies to help with daily training events. We also talked about how my dad volunteered to find us venues for our training classes.

Shannon got on the call. We talked about some progress on the videos that she, Dave Forbis, Russell, and Chris Johnnie. Shannon showed us the link to the current google drive videos. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B7QkXlJmb-PSeGRMZF9jbG10ZEE

We talked about the difference between in-person vs. webinar (web based training). We are seeing the need for the live sessions (they enjoy the connection with the people). Who, where, when? We need to offer the live events, even if they aren't fully attended.

Build out the adilas university video library and the user guide. Make it easy to use and help train the trainers there. One of the unknown values is how do you help someone to stay on and keep going. Shannon mentioned Dave Forbis and Shari O. as up and coming helpers for tech support stuff. Also, Nick and Alan (both developers do have some great teaching skills). I could also be more a consultant and trainer type person.

One of the major challenged is how fast things change. We shoot a video or write a help file and then things change. How do you keep up? What a good question...

We have some great users... that is good and bad. We also don't have any standard certifications and/or train the trainer type stuff. Some of these people have some major skills but might be liabilities on the other hand.

What about the adilas marketplace and the adilas university? We may be going too fast for our own good. What would happen if we totally slowed down and sell what we have? We build and build but are somewhat unable to slow down and tell people what we have to offer. What is the master plan? Do we already have it written down but just need to follow it or do we need to redefine it?

We are seeing a change in the way that the system flows... We are getting more API socket calls, we are getting shortcuts, we are seeing more black box stuff, more developer specific code. We need to tell Shannon and Shari O. Who is going to do this new training? We may need to recruit who made it to help do the training. Make that part of the process. Slow things down a bit.

The developer's notebook is kinda splitting now as well. We have elements of time in adilas university, adilas, and in the adilas shop section. How are we going to bring all of that together. We have things fracturing and splitting all around us. That is part of the game, we need to allow and accept that. How are we going to deal with that?

Sustainable pace - slow and steady wins the race. Maybe keep looking at the process and judge the pace and needs accordingly. People have the potential to let you down. The only person we can truly trust is God. We can then give trust to other people. Make him your main stable anchor and then extend to others. If all else fails, then the sure anchor will still hold fast.

I would rather be a trusting person and then be betrayed vs. not being a trusting person from the get go. Quote from Shannon who got it from an apostle (lightly tweaked). We are looking for a loyalty and commitment level of sorts. We do have to be picky. It comes down to a balance and a relationship. Take your time and start to build from there. Relationships take time. That is ok, build it everyday. We make the choices and strengthen and exercise those choices everyday.

Shop 2029 Phone call with Dave 11/30/2016   On a phone call with Dave Forbis. We touched base on a couple of projects and went over the plans on some others. Dave is starting to work more for Russell and Chris Johnnie doing research, project management, sales, and some marketing. He seems to be having fun and enjoying what he is doing. That is awesome.

I also called Shawn Curtis and chatted with him for a little bit. We set up an appointment for this coming week. He has a bunch of payroll and withholding pieces that I need to get merged in.

Shop 1981 AFB Demo 11/16/2016   On a Zoom session and live demo with Chris Johnnie and Russell Moore going over the new AFB theme. Russell was the primary presenter and did a great job. We walked through the new options and settings and got to look around and play with the new features. Russell did a great job and the people on the Zoom session had a good response to what they were seeing. Lots of potential for what they are doing. Great look and feel with tons of custom options.

At the end, we had a good discussion on direction and where things are headed. I enjoyed the demo, tour, and information session. Good stuff.

As a side note, Shannon, Shari O., Bryan, Dave Forbis, Chris Johnnie, Russell, and a couple other reps and people were on the session.

Shop 1895 Russell Moore 11/1/2016   On a longer Zoom session with Russell today. We had fun talking about some new ideas and direction. Russell and Chris Johnnie are thinking about going more into the PHP (different server-side scripting environment) for some of their stuff. We had some good talks and drew lots of pictures on the screen about different options.

Russell and I then worked on two big merges and pushing code up and live. Lots of checking and looking at code and such. We got things synced up and up to date. Lots of new code for the AFB (adilas for business) CSS and header/footer options. Russell has been working on that for a couple of months.

We also merged in some code to help with auto populating the sub special flags and tags add-on's for elements of time. That helps us pre-flag and pre-tag different elements to help with custom searches and new options for elements of time. We got everything merged and pushed to all servers. We then did some live testing of the new pages and features.

Shop 1645 Adilas time 10/24/2016   On a GoToMeeting session with Nick and Steve. Nick was working on the black box project. He is entering the cart and shopping cart land (page sets and page groups) now. Steve was working on a small page to run some mini conversions. Basically, they are grabbing data and then making a mini form that allows the user to virtually divide the product into known sub pieces (mini conversions going from grams to ounces, grams to each, etc.).

I helped out with some small questions and then did a bunch of emails and phone calls. I was on the phone with Shannon, Bryan, Will, and Russell. I spent almost an hour on the phone with Russell. He was talking shop and ideas that he and Chris Johnnie would like to do. They would like to focus more on sales and marketing vs. new development and building. We talked pros and cons and had a good conversation. The hard part is really making things happen in a timely manner. Things tend to happen, it just seems to play out at a much slower pace than what we had hoped.

Shop 1922 Meeting with Chris and Russell, Marketing Ideas 10/17/2016   On a Zoom session with Russell and Chris Johnnie. They were proposing some marketing ideas and opening up some conversations. Here are some of my notes:

- They would like to sell the adilas marketplace back to us. This was going to be the adilas world project (back in the day) and they modified it to the adilas market. This is our community networking and marketing site. They were talking between $9,000 to $15,000. They would also consider possible monthly payments.

- They pitched a model of they build it and get it ready and then resell it back to us. They stay on the front end of the development cycle. We get to pick and choose where we send them and what we want to buy back.

- They would like to do a similar things with the adilas university project. They would like to build it out and get it started and then roll it back over to us.

- They would like to keep pushing forward on the other projects that are on their tick list.

- If we owned the adilas marketplace, we could negotiate prices and agreements for the market. Steve is the best source for filling up the market. We could give things away, charge, and push people there. This could also allow us to encourage a free market enterprise vs. an endorsed or pre-set market.

- Russell had an adilas rep that asked about duplicating the adilas market for her own networking needs. Russell took the idea and would like to see it be a toggle on/off service for adilas clients. Basically a marketing and networking hub of sort for other companies. Mini networking teams.

- AFB (adilas for business) would like to work on a long-term relationship with the main adilas company.

- The adilas university site and concept needs to be able to duplicate as well. Basically, there are tons of people and companies who need to help educate and teach what they do or sell. A community learning center of sorts. Once again a toggle on/off service that comes with the adilas platform.

- A note from Chris Johnnie - Maybe set the prices to help out loyal customers. This could be something that we add in for free and/or some kind of promotion or customer loyalty program or perk.

- We may need to raise the commissions rates and system prices to a higher level. This could help make the ball go further. Higher prices and higher commission rates could help to sell the products or services.

- Russell and Chris would love to see a 60-80% commission on the first year of service. It would then roll into the normal 20-40% commission as a reoccurring model. Basically, the first year is kinda front loaded. Once the client is stable and on the system, the reoccurring commission is at a smaller rate. Kinda like an investment.

- We need and AFB would like to make a ecommerce version of adilas and help to gather the correct setup and sign-up information for a new adilas system. This would be a series of small forms that get and collect the corporation, location, and user information. This is a great lead in to packages and possible upsells.

- What if we took the setup fee (say $150 - $250) and pushed a good portion of that to the rep or consultant to help with the setup and training of the client. Or, if the setup fee was increased, we could push a portion to training and education. Helping to get the clients off to the races on the right foot.

- There are two huge keys: They are education and maintenance. Those two things may be more important than new features.

- Russell gave the corn field analogy. He said, say you have some land but don't have the time to plant it. What if you allowed someone else to plant it and they get 60-80% of the corn the first year. Then the next year, they only get 20% of the corn that gets produced by that field (client payments for a system). Anyways, the goal and idea was to use other people to help plow the field and get things ready. They make enough and we get another field plowed.

- We, as adilas, may need to help these guys keep pushing the ball forward and helping them with sales and what not. Keep moving forward and kicking the ball down the road.

Shop 1849 Adilas Rep & Consultant Meeting 9/22/2016   On a Zoom meeting and session with Russell and Chris Johnnie to show off some of the new AFB (adilas for business) stuff. Great meeting with Russell and Chris doing most of the talking. They showed some of the adilas market (adilas world project), ecommerce, and other new settings and such. They did a great job and there were a number of other reps and key players on the session.

This was somewhat of the first 3rd party solution update and webinar that has happened. That is exciting. I think that those involved were also excited to see some of the new pieces that were coming down the pipeline.

Shop 1814 Meeting with Thomas Edison Charter School 9/16/2016   Went into town with Chris Johnnie and Dave Forbis. We met with Carol and Laurie from the Thomas Edison Charter School. The main task that we did today was have Carol go over a number of existing systems that they use for tracking things and running their school.

Carol gave us a play by play demo of some of the software they are using. We picked up some likes and dislikes from the demo. See the attached scans for my notes.

Shop 1799 Meeting with Chris Johnnie and Russell - Charter Schools 9/9/2016   Met with the Thomas Edison Charter School (south campus). Chris Johnnie and Dave Forbis were there as well. Russell was joined in through a Zoom session. We met with their people and talked about options and logistics. We had people from both campuses online with us over Skype. There were quite a few questions and some good discussion. We have already given them a demo a couple of time but they keep changing who is there. This time we did have some computer tech people who seem to be the key players. The Administrators have virtually said yes, they are now deferring to the tech people to make sure everything is going to line up ok.

Some of the topics of the day were:
- Group Mass Texting - Told them about Calvin's GMexting program.
- Digital signatures and document management (media/content).
- Inventory controls with barcodes, labels, and checking in/out text books (mini rental type scenario).
- Budgetting, Monies, and Financial Reports.
- Exporting Data and connecting to other state sites and databases through API socket connections.
- Parent organizations and helping them keep track of events and monies (virtual ecommerce, bill pays, parent portals, to do lists, and document management stuff).
- Looking forward into multi-levels of students, parents, teachers, and administrator levels for permissions, settings, and custom interfaces.

Overall a great meeting. Dave, Chris, and Russell did awesome and I only had to chime in a couple of time other then when they gave the floor to me to talk about things. Great meeting. Chris Johnnie has been babysitting this one for over a year now. Kinda interesting how long it really takes for a bigger organization like this to bite the virtual fish hook. Interesting.

Shop 1777 Barcode searches 8/30/2016   More work on the barcode search options. Also restored some of the smart group code for sub inventory. We had the screws a little bit too tight. We had to loosen things up a bit.

Finished up a report for Russell Moore and Chris Johnnie for sales reps, adilas consultants, and adilas developers. They needed the contact info for the adilas market and adilas world apps. I'm excited to see that take hold and get pushed forward.

Light tech support and sending emails and screenshots to different people. Other emails and such.

Shop 1531 Adilas World/ Adilas for Business 6/29/2016   Met with Nick to go over some questions he had on the adilas market and adilas world project. They (Nick, Russell, and Chris Johnnie) have the adilas market up and online. They are working through small tweaks and fixing the different pages and features. It is cool to see it and what they are doing.

Nick and I worked on a number of possible fixes. Nick mostly had questions written down that we would go through. He would then take notes and record ideas and then we would go to the next question or section. Great use of time and a very productive meeting.

Shop 1329 russell 5/16/2016   Meeting with Chris Johnnie and Russell. We met in the side room and talked about goals and vision. Both Chris and Russell are trying to figure out what their next step is. I really want to see some of their stuff get finished, launched, and see them grow. That would be awesome.

We talked quite a bit about how the 3rd party solution model could work inside of adilas and how things could go and flow. Good meeting. Lots of drawing up at the whiteboard.

Shop 1279 The big three 4/22/2016   I saw some notes on the whiteboard from a meeting between Chris Johnnie and Dave Forbis. Just wanted to record this.

The Big Three
- World Building
- Data Storytelling or Digital Storytelling
- Assembly Line For Data

The process was listed as:
1. Start and build on common ground
>> 1.1. Business companion software package for any business
>> 1.2. See what they like and what they need

2. Talk about needs and pain areas
>> 2.1. Most people love to tell you the good, the bad, and ugly.

3. Fill the gaps and ease the pain with the existing tools and features.
>> 3.1. Think about the tools as companion tools for whatever already exists. Keep playing on common ground and possibly introduce new options.

4. Work towards the big three
>> 4.1. World Building
>> 4.2. Digital Storytelling
>> 4.3. Assembly Line For Data

Long story made short, we are headed toward the big three. However, sometimes the market and/or world may not be ready for that as an in your face marketing tool. The goal here was to start off really basic and then build on common beliefs and core principles. Then when ready start introducing more advanced topics such as world building, digital storytelling, or data assembly line concepts. Great ideas and flow.

Shop 1099 Chris Johnnie - School Demo 4/7/2016   Meet at 9:30 am at Thomas Edison North with 6ish staff members from 2 campuses to demo Adilas.

Notes: Met up with Chris Johnnie and Dave Forbis and went over to the school. We were on a Skype session with the other campus. I did the demo and Chris and Dave helped with the questions, ideas, and feedback. Good demo. We covered some student stuff, media/content, photos/scans, inventory, barcoding desks and chairs, expense tracking, and other budgeting requirements.

We have everything other than some of the budgeting features (may need watchers and feeders - inside of elements of time). Other than that, we were able to bounce in and show tons of potential. We also talked quite a bit about custom reports, ecommerce pieces (for parents and students), and custom interfaces.

We have met with this school three or four times (in the last 6-8 months). I think that they are finally getting it and the timing seems right. The principle is looking to retire in the next year and a half. He wants to get things setup correctly for the new incoming principle. Great meeting.

Notes: We had a great turn out. Dave Forbis did most of the planning for the event. We had Dave and his niece, Will and his wife, Garrett and his wife, Derrick, Alan and his wife and family, Bryan and his wife and family, Calvin and his wife, Shawn and his wife, Daniel and his wife, Chris Johnnie and his wife and kids, my family, my mom and dad, and Shannon stopped by for a bit.

We had pizza and potluck goodness! Some of the guys played games (farkle), some watched a movie (national treasure), and some just chatted. Fun event!

Shop 201 talk about photo galleries 11/13/2015   Met and talked with Russell. We talked about photo gallery concepts and looked at a number of possible photos that I would like to have and use for training and sales demos. Basically, Russell and Chris Johnnie want to put my photo gallery up on their site so that they get more pings. Basically a tool that anybody could use to get at the photos that I like to use. We decided to circle back around and do another session on this subject next week.

Shop 2961 General 10/23/2015   10:30-4:00 Went into Logan to work. Spent most of the morning working with Bryan on his logic for Prescott Gun Club and signing and saving PDF's with signatures. We also went over logic for subs or additional waivers. Lots of page flow. I spent quite a bit of time with Russell going over a sales pitch back to Adilas. Russell and Chris Johnnie are looking to pitch ideas for helping Adilas with Sales and marketing stuff. Very interesting conversation. We talked about he railroad analogy, open real estate around the tracks, options to franchise ideas and concepts, stacking layers, barriers to entry into new markets, and planning for checks and balances. Part of the conversation was me pointing out good parts and pieces of Russell's pitch. I'm trying to help him succeed, even though he is virtually pitching me. I had a lot of fun and loved to see his vision and determination. Anyways, I really enjoyed the meeting and elements that are currently in the process of being planned. Very exciting. I also helped Daniel and Jake on their GPS project and wire job as well as Garrett with some custom reports. 30 miles.
