AU 2926 January 2014 Monthly Recap 1/1/2014   To kick off a new year adilas moved to a multiple server solution. This was a huge and exciting transition for adilas! This transition will allow adilas to better serve it's current users and better adapt to support a growing clientele. Lots of time was spent brainstorming, modeling, and mapping organization of servers to best support adilas clients, future growth, future server additions, and improved adilas functionality.

Multiple new year changes needed to be adapted to, as many adilas clients in Colorado began implementation of newly released tracking regulations from the state. Developers spent a great deal of time this month brainstorming and developing different options and direction, striving to determine solutions that will best serve new client needs and also bring desired long term solutions for all adilas users.

As the new year began adilas developers also worked a great deal on various federal tax forms, calculations, updates, and files. An adilas intern began project work to finish the remaining 4 of the 12 main player photos galleries: deposits, vendors, employee/users, and quotes. Many settings and page changes were also implemented to provide current solutions for clients experiencing new regulations and requirements.

*We hope you are enjoying the adilas developer's notebook! Please utilize and explore the vast search capabilities of adilas to find more information throughout the developer's notebook. For further questions, or help, please feel free to contact us at: support@adilas.biz.

AU 1931 Daily Tasks 1/7/2014   • Making a few tweaks to the existing adilas web services. Moved a few things around. There used to be a testing page on LearnToFreeride.com. I moved it to the main adilas.biz site.
• Helping an intern with his photo gallery projects. Good stuff. He is getting into the flow.
• Emails,

• On the phone with Steve. The server went down so we reset the services. We then talked about funding and upcoming projects. The conversation ended up turning towards current server loads and our plans for duplicating and splitting the servers and database models. We decided that we will be doing this sooner than later and even escalating this project into high gear. This will help us do a manual load balance for the time being.
• Working with an intern on his photo gallery pages and projects. Talking with my wife and the intern about new developments and plans.
• Writing an email to Newtek about duplicating servers, files, and databases.
• Setting up things on new servers. Ordering full copies of current site files and database structures.

AU 1956 Daily Ideas 1/7/2014   -We’ve had requests to show breakdowns on customer sales such as customer type, sex (male/female), etc. People want to see who is buying their stuff. I was thinking that some of that data might go nicely on the daily/weekly reports for invoice sales.

AU 1932 Daily Tasks 1/8/2014   • On the phone with my older sister talking about adilas and options for training. I then called my mom to see if she would be interested in helping with training and consulting.
• An intern came over. He is working on projects and I was doing emails. We chatted about having a company that uses adilas and is a real life training ground for people who want to use adilas. We staff it with adilas power users and then help train new and upcoming clients and reps. It could be a fun idea.
• Went in to town to meet with a contact. I took the interns with me to the demo. We chatted, had a bit to eat, and then did a couple hour demo. He had some great questions and we showed him a number of cool things like digital timecards, invoices, quotes, parts, eCommerce, and light elements of time tied to customers. Great visit. He had the biggest interest in the inventory tracking and eCommerce pieces. 30 miles.

• Went in to BATC to talk to the Custom Fit manager about using Bridgerland for some training with the adilas interns. Also talked with the PR representative about getting her a copy of the adilas and BATC interview back in September of 2013.
• Returned a phone call to a rep in Colorado. She had a random duplicate user assignment between users and departments. It was causing problems. I had to go in and void out one of the records to make it go back to normal. I spent some time and added a special check to make sure that the system automatically checks for duplicate user to department assignments and cleans things up where needed.
• Posted new auto clean-up files online. Tested and then recorded notes from the day.
• Working on 2014 Federal Payroll taxes and withholdings.

AU 1957 Daily Ideas 1/8/2014   -We have had requests to allow my cart favorites to calculate discounts as a percentage off on both single items and the cart as a whole.
-On discounts, we have also had requests to be able to show/hide and/or lock down the option to be able to apply discounts and edit prices from a shopping cart. A couple of suggestions have been: a new permission to show/hide the discount option, a max limit on the discount to be applied, and forcing a manager’s override for a discount to be applied. On the manger’s override, that would take a manager’s approval and some sort of special password or something to allow the action to take place.

AU 1958 Daily Ideas 1/13/2014   -The flex grid tie-ins are very helpful to record extra data. This is an idea that will help and expand upon those already existing options… What if we, on purpose, added extra fields, to the main application types or system player groups? For example: Deposits, Invoices, Expense/Receipts, PO’s, Parts, Customers, etc. What if we added extra flex fields to both main and line item tables?

- Main flex text fields from 1-5 or 1-10 or 1-N
- Main flex numeric fields, 1-N
- Main flex data fields, 1-N
- Line flex text fields, 1-N
- Line flex numeric fields, 1-N
- Line flex data fields, 1-N

-The text fields would be up to 255 characters (default 100, 150, or 255). The numeric field would be signed (+ or -) with two decimals. If we built them in a way that they could be turned on/off at will, that would be cool. It would also be cool to be able to name them, search by them, and even allow for custom output options. This would take some work, but build in the flex text fields as part of the main application. As a note, let the database control the application through settings, permissions, and assignments. I know this is a lot, but think master templates, point and click assignments, and sort of base things off of elements of time and master time templates.

-Vendors and users need a log page. We are seeing a need to be able to log vendor and user stuff just like what we do with customers. This includes, log notes, follow-ups, additional contacts, etc. Basically CRM (Customer Relation Management) stuff for vendors and users. That would be really cool!
-When adding time to cart… Maybe stick to hours instead of converting to days. I guess it depends on what you are billing for but hours seems to be the best option. This issue came up as we added just over 24 hours of billable time to the cart. Instead of showing 24 hours and a decimal portion, it showed 1.02 days.

AU 3667 Tech - Duplicating Servers - Round 1 & 2 1/14/2014   Duplicating Servers – Round One:
- Start from the beginning
o Create corp
o Create user
o Build assignments between corps based on permissions
- Changes to logins
- Timeline for new changes
- Communication to other users
- Going from current model – to – round one (please see sketches on scan in photo gallery)
Round Two:
1. Universe
2. Galaxies
3. Clusters
4. Solar Systems
5. Worlds (are within solar systems)
Duplicating Servers – Round One (Continued):
- Application.cfm has a number of key pieces. (There are 3 application.cfm files – root, shop, top secret). Currently that file works as a config file of sorts. For right now, that file could be server specific until we could come up with a more dynamic way of controlling code.
o Controlling variables:
• Allow New Corps = “yes” or “no”
• If yes, use key word next or a physical number,
• If next, figure it out
• If number, check for it first, then add it
- How do we report back to the master?
- When creating a new corporation, I’d like to look at a master list.
- Between corporations and clusters it feels like the old debate between which comes first – the chicken or the egg? You kind of need both. Let’s say that we have created a chicken and now we want to get one or more eggs.
- On some of the webservices… Depending on the cluster configurations. They, the webservices, may need to go out and then back in or update using local connections.

AU 1938 Daily Tasks 1/15/2014   • Emails and renewing PCI compliance stuff. Going through database inserts for new thumbnail columns for deposits, quotes, vendors, and users.
• Planning the next move with splitting corporations onto different servers. Lots of time on paper and going over things. On the phone with clients who had questions on accounting stuff. Emails and tech support.
• Brainstorming with an intern on the next steps and how far to jump on this first level. Started working through things in code.
• Working on changes to files that allow for adding new corporations. In our model, the corporation level is the world level.
• Working on adding new corporations using new code.
• Working on new login options.

AU 1959 Daily Ideas 1/15/2014   -We need to modify the corporation image folders once we get on the new servers. Add some more security to the image paths.
-If we update image folder paths… we will also need to update references on eCommerce and web presence sections. Basically, anywhere that we use images.
-We had a request to add the RFID tag field to the quick search. If used, it would pull all occurrences in parts, PO’s, and invoices. This new permission would also allow for the corp-wide setting name to be used.
-On RFID tags, we need to open up search options on advanced PO and invoice line items searches. This includes options to export to Excel.
-On payee searches, on an admin level, we need to include corp key id numbers. As a note, the corp key id could also be called the world code or the business id.

AU 1960 Daily Ideas 1/17/2014   -This is more of a question… but what if you wanted more than one instance of a corporation or world? Say a full copy on box A and another full copy on box B. How would that work? Is there a way to do master/servant of main servers and drone servers? What about full mirrors or exact real-time copies? Interesting thought.

AU 1942 Daily Tasks 1/20/2014   • Monday morning emails, light tech support, and checking things out that happened over the weekend.
• On the phone with Steve going over the game plan for tonight. He is working on a master server and corporation list. We talked about future growth and managing that. We talked about the interns, helpers, reps, consultants, and how best to spread the load. We briefly talked about the adilas user guide as well.
• Ran into a small error on the main server. It was pointing to itself and not letting any traffic go to outside players on sites. A quick call to tech support fixed the problem.

• Tech support, phone calls, and posting new custom PDF documents online for a client.
• On the phone with Newtek confirming the server copy for tonight.
• Setting up the new servers. Settings and tweaks to configurations and such. Went through the main site and made a list of special pages to upload.
• Prepping files for the server shutdown tonight.

• More prep for the server shutdown. An intern came over and started working on galleries. We worked until about 12:30 am and then the other intern joined us for the remainder of the night. When 1:00am came around, we shut down the servers and called Newtek. They were pretty slammed. While we waited for them to copy files, we built a master database list of corporations. We also flipped files around and set different corporations to active and inactive statuses. One intern and I started working on a new login to help with the new server changes.

By this time we had, had the servers shut down for quite a bit of time. We called Newtek and had to stay on hold for over an hour. They must have been slammed. We were almost ready to roll back to the old server. About 5:30am we got notice that the critical files had been copied. We decided to push forward. We remoted in to the new servers and moved files around. This took quite a bit of work. Once that was done it came down to the login process that wasn’t quite done. By this time it was getting late and the servers had been shut down for hours and hours. Pretty soon we started to get emails and phone calls about not being able to login. The interns went home about 6:30am. I finished up the login page and launched the new code. No sooner did we launch it, we got blasted with emails and phone calls about people who had forgotten their corporation key. Tons of emails and phone calls. Everything else seemed to be fine, we just had to help people with their access keys. Super crazy all-nighter! I’m glad that it is over.

AU 1961 Daily Ideas 1/22/2014   -“Intel” is kind of like a motor for computers (chip sets and processors). They brand themselves by putting a small sticker on the outside to tell people what is on the inside or what the engine is. Adilas is kind of like an engine. Maybe we could do something similar. Idea from an intern.

AU 1945 Daily Tasks 1/23/2014   • Updating corporations on the master corporation list. An intern came over and I was helping him with the payee (vendors and users) photo gallery. We talked about the need to expand the vendor and user sections. We would like to add log files, additional contacts, and even follow-ups.
• On the phone with Steve going over a few things. Talking with the intern about training and education. We can see that there will be more and more needs as we go forward. Prepped a list of basics that we want to teach to our interns.

• Went in to Bridgerland to work with the interns. They started working on customer uploads and I was prepping files for them. On the phone with Steve going over some of the new uploads. Answering tons of emails. Another intern came by and we setup some times to help get him trained. As we go forward we will have more and more need for trained adilas team members. 30 miles.
• Working on the master/universe level for adding and editing corporations or worlds.
• More work on the master corporation controller pages.

AU 1962 Daily Ideas 1/23/2014   -We really need to add a vendor/payee management section. This will be similar to the customer side but for vendors and users. Instead of CRM, it may be called PRM (payee relationship management). Anyway, we want log notes, follow-up, additional contacts, etc.
-We need to keep training more and more people. Help them help themselves. Education and service are huge keys.
-“Powered by an adilas data engine!” or “This site/app is powered by an adilas data engine!” or “Powered by adilas.biz” or “data app by adilas.biz”. Just some ideas for some branding.

Adi 837 Custom Code - Rock Solid 1/24/2014   Steve,
Is there any way possible for us to say set up a dealer to be able to only access customer logs? Or does that require each dealer to have their own Adilas log in? Make sense?
Thank you

AU 1963 Daily Ideas 1/25/2014   -Packages & Limited Usage Items: We had a request to add one time usage items. Originally I was thinking a perfect one to one relationship like a custom piece of pottery or a unique sculpture. Basically, create it, sell exactly one, and then be done with it. Well, I got a call this morning from a client that was asking for a one time usage item with a given quantity. So instead of a one to one, it was more of a one to many but the many was a set number. Most times, when we talk a one to many relationships, the one is known and the many is an infinite variable. So, a one to a finite number would be more like a package, an instance, or a measured occurrence.

-In order to make these packages, groups, and bundles work; we may need to mix and blend parts (items), PO’s, recipes, builds, and then invoicing to get the job done.
-I would like to use elements of time to add a mini news and updates section on the login pages.
-When teaching classes and courses. Allow the students to help with brainstorming and ides. Harness the resource of people. There are tons of great minds out there.
-Share what you have!

-When teaching… start slow and then speed things up. I was listening to a song from the sound track for the “The Prince of Egypt”, an older DreamWorks production. The song that caught my attention was “Through Heaven’s Eyes”. It is basically Moses’ father-in law welcoming him, Moses, into the family. As part of the song they teach Moses how to dance the family dance. It starts out super slow and then gets faster and faster as everybody knows what is going on. The song has some great messages and it really helped out today. Good stuff!
-Start slow and move forward as you are able.

AU 1949 Daily Tasks 1/28/2014   • Went to the first day of adilas training. We held it in Denver, CO., at the Moose Lodge. We set up tons of tables and chairs, set up computers, printers, scanners, etc. We had 20+ people at the live class and another 10-15 online through GoToMeeting. We did some introductions and then started in on the training course. We had a number of clients that were from the MMJ industry and the training definitely had that flavor. As part of the training one of the ladies who is going to help consult for adilas helped answer tons of questions. She did some adilas training and also some MITS training. MITS is a site that requires the MMJ industry to record certain state required fields. It takes tons of work for the users to record the data in both places. She did a great job and many of the users were very thankful. Another thing that we covered a lot was generic items, special PO’s, and global find and replace functions. We got some great ideas and really enjoyed helping the people. Great class and good participation.

AU 2132 Adilas 3 Day Training Notes - Denver 1/28/2014   JANUARY 2014 DENVER ADILAS TRAINING - JANUARY 28-30th
DAY 1 - JANUARY 28th

-Brandon was going over the newer graphic he has made, I think he calls it the adilas GPS graphic, but there has been a lot of thought into the order of that as well. Again like the map, things that are related are close to each other, or other related items are across, etc., etc. A great learning tool and it was a good way to start.
-PO's - an inventory tracking tool - getting anything into the system, even internally creating product, etc.

Demo/Intro with Kate:
-Great comment: she said wherever you are you can always start at the top and work your way down and you are bound to figure out what you want or what you need to do.
-Control - instead of a right click, choose new tab... good way to quickly open a new tab
-What page are you on? - You always know exactly where you are at.
-What is the goal? Plan it out... then you can walk through the system

***IDEA: The ability to save barcode settings.... so much of what people are wanting for many aspects though - and adilas is working on many of these... basically people want to be able to do what they do/want and save those settings for their purposes.

***IDEA: We may need to clarify this idea with someone who understood exactly what was said - but I think what I basically got was - they want a way to be able to track/calculate how many grams the patient ends up walking out with. Associated with the product, so that they can track how many grams add up as they add products to the shopping cart, so that they can make sure the person does not walk out with more grams/ounces then they are allowed to.

***IDEA: with packages... package ID numbers and once you sell it, it can go.... Brandon seemed to understand what was meant by these ideas... one of the class participants was talking about this. Cleaner way to move through inventory, to pre-package and back stock & only see what is currently out in your inventory so you can work through that.
-There is a definite importance and need for people to understand practices or what tools to even use to accomplish various processes and tasks.... granted there are many ways to do lots of things... but there are some "BEST Practices"

-Returns: Think negative invoices
-Departments: set up tax settings, relationships between department and users.

AU 1950 Daily Tasks 1/29/2014   • Working on the advanced search options for RFID and line item package tags. Working on the advanced invoice search.
• Went in to the second day of the Denver training course. Steve was there and we used him tons and tons to help with training. Both Steve and this client/consultant did tons of training on MMJ tracking processes. We had great participation and had 20+ people live plus around 15 people online. Great interactions, great ideas, and great questions. We focused on customers, flex grid, logs, and how adilas interacts with MITS (Colorado State MMJ system). Great session!

AU 2133 Adilas 3 Day Training Notes - Denver 1/29/2014   DAY 2 - JANUARY 29th

-Steve was talking about some good practices and was expressing that with employees, limit their permissions, such as - don't let them see the cost in the cart - because they could change that. He expressed that he even likes to run with that off, since he has the ability to turn it on & off, then he can make sure he doesn't inadvertently change the cost. If he needs to, he can go back in and turn it on again.
-It is important to understand the permissions and know how to use them!

-I like how Steve kind of works his way down or through the page just teaching and discussing what things are or what they do... very helpful, great for teaching.
-Once things are in the system.... its RELATIONSHIPS, RELATIONSHIPS, RELATIONSHIPS.... assign, attach, connect, sell, buy, pay, receive, RELATIONSHIPS...
-Are we able to save "Favorites" buttons yet?

***IDEA: Adjusting the tax category as a drop down, so that you could adjust things as needed for tax categories with pre-assigned values. But Steve was expressing some of the difficulties of tracking this potentially??? Some brainstorming still needs to occur on how to deal with different tax settings for specific items or categories.

-Enter once - use many! - This can help your life tremendously... they will use some of these same principles and concepts that adilas runs on, (even think eCommerce for one instance), to help solve these problems they are trying to manage with everything changing in this industry.
-PO - Purchase Order or Production Order - for this industry and their plants, they use a lot of this as Production Orders

-It really is AMAZING that the adilas application is truly a model that is a huge toolset to let you run your business however you want - your flavor!!! So many other models are so rigid. Adilas is huge! But I also see how that can be a little intimidating for people with adilas. Because it is a giant sandbox and you can jump, hop, go here, go there, stop mid-process, come back, etc.... That IS huge flexibility!... But different for people to understand how to use, it takes a different approach. We know this, but it is still interesting to see it over and over again.

-How valuable to be able to take people's ideas - because they know what they want to happen - and be able to help them make that happen for their system, for their industry.
-You can do some powerful stuff with flex grid for sure - something new that I hadn't thought of. Brandon was saying you can filter your flex grid data, export it to Excel and then do all sorts of math calculations with them to help you adjust what you are doing... that is a great thing, good stuff.
-Neat futuristic - application flex grid tie-ins - such cool stuff coming

***IDEA: Steve was expressing some good ideas from Randy about scanning the tags from the top of an order down and then copying & pasting things and changing one function. I really didn't get entirely what was being said b/c it was pretty quick but seemed very understood by those in the industry. Anyhow some ideas about RFID tracking....

***IDEA: Again, some huge possibilities and help with packages and tracking through packages....

***IDEA: A quick search option for the RFID tag - search in invoice line items, PO line items and the actual part - return with variance, how much you have received when it began and where it is at now, or where it has gone.

***IDEA: On Elements of Time - is there a way you can categorize things per location or per user group - so who gets to see what.... almost like pre-filters if you will for locations or user groups etc.

AU 1951 Daily Tasks 1/30/2014   • Emails and tech support.
• Went to day three of the Denver adilas training. We covered tons of backend accounting type transactions. We went through a number of basics, definitions, flow and virtual accounting 101 stuff. We also talked about what automatically flows to the P&L (income statement) and the Balance Sheet. I used my pens and markers tons to show what happens in the background. After lunch we got into more complicated scenarios. We spent quite a bit of time diving in deep to the user-maintained balance sheet items. We did some paid in capital, distributions, lease payments, etc. This was probably the most in-depth training section that we have done on accounting basics. Some people thought that it was too basic but others really loved it. I thought that it was pretty fun. Anyway, we had a good class and those who were there enjoyed it. Good stuff. We had Shari teach some payroll stuff. We had a Denver consultant/client teach some MMJ stuff. My sister did a demo on expense/receipts. I had fun. All in all we had a great three days of training.

AU 2134 Adilas 3 Day Training Notes - Denver 1/30/2014   DAY 3 - JANUARY 30th

Online question we covered in class:
One problem I have not been able to address is jumping to the employee side. I have the employee working (2) two shops and it creates two payroll checks. Want to know how to make it so his hours come up together at both locations?

-Some great info this morning on what automatically feeds to the P&L & B.S. Went over things that are automated after showing it in the more traditional Financial Flow Calculator. Really great to show on the map and work through process and then also show in adilas.

-Revenue (Deposits, Invoices, A/R) - COGS (Invoices/Expenses) = Gross profit; Gross profit - Expenses (Expense/Receipts - whether from PO's, REI's, splits or reg E/R's) = Net profit.

-Equity - your value in stock, your retained earnings...
-Notes payable = owed money, assets = land, building & equipment
-Liability - taxes, gift cards/certificates, inventory - things we owe people for, bills - expenses, stock/units, payables, loans (User-Maintained Balance Sheet Items)
-Equity - account for retained earnings
-Splits - Payments of Account

-User-Maintained Balance Sheet Item:
Option 1: Item Assigned Value - one time only deal, this is how much was paid in, basically logging special one-time items
Option 2: Difference - good for a loan or paying off a liability, because it is continually depleting down to 0, so it is showing the "difference" as you make payments and working on paying it off
Option 3: Running Balance - the most flexible, takes the top total still but allows for all sorts of subs and allows for things to flow up and down, up & down (money in & out), and it will keep the running total of that Balance Sheet Item

-When setting up payroll - it is really helpful to have all your W-4's right there, so you can get all of their allowances and everything put in correctly.

***IDEA: Someone has a user that they have assigned to 2 different departments... but they want that to be able to roll together when they run payroll, so that they can just write them one check. That may be happening with increasing frequency, especially with the MMJ industry.

AU 1952 Daily Tasks 1/31/2014   • Went in and took off the January training flyer stuff. Posted a couple new files online.
• Went in to town with my sister to meet with Steve and the adilas team. David, Shari, Craig, and Steve were there. The meeting was great. My sister took notes and we had a very loose, open forum, brainstorming, and prioritizing the next steps. It was a great meeting. Everybody had a good attitude and lots of excitement. We had a fun lunch together. After lunch, a guy that had connected with Steve came over and Steve and I chatted with him for over an hour. He lives there in Salida and may end up helping us with database stuff and custom code projects. I was really quite impressed with his past experience and business knowledge. Good stuff. As part of the team meeting, we talked about mini training sessions, new and upcoming projects, assigned tasks, etc. Our next remote training class will most likely be in Texas.

AU 1964 Daily Ideas 1/31/2014   -“The rising tide lifts all boats.” I got this saying from my friend in BV, Colorado as we were talking about the stage where adilas is at. Anything somebody does just helps to raise the tide. He also looked up the source of the quote. He said that President JFK used to use this saying. He got it from a community up in the New England area. I love how it talks about lifting everything. That’s cool!
-See the meeting notes from my sister for more details. They will have info about special taxes, packages, RFID tags, split cart, custom labels, content server, ice-down date, expand the interface chooser, and new icons for help and tips. Be able to upload your own logo, eCommerce settings exposed to clients and corp-wide settings for stock/units. My sister took 4 pages of notes.

AU 2131 Adilas Team Meeting Notes 1/31/2014   ADILAS TEAM MEETING - JANUARY 2014
(Steve, David, Craig, Shari, Brandon, Shannon)

-Taxes for MMJ - put it in the parts section, or on the location homepage - basically being able to change
-More one to many - on the categories
-Those 2 pieces together - multi-leveled categories (also important for eCommerce) + the tax category (so the ability to set the taxes per category)
-Packages - RFID
-Split Cart
-Custom Labels
-Ice Down Date - pop-up calendar, maybe these two would go well together since we are already touching every page
-Content server
-Financial history page - this will be a great asset for the future. Probably a lower priority currently but this will be a really neat feature.
-More validation on different pages - the example was of a B.S. item on an e/r - but more things are coming with the balance sheet
-A search sort by column.... but maybe that could come later
-Bringing in things this year to enhance some of the smaller feature or functionality of adilas....
-Button links that open and expand - like on the printable invoice, allows for more space and it can open up
-What if you were able to save setting on reports?
-Bring the Report Builder back - save your settings on reports
-Expand out the "Chooser" - Exposing all approved customer interfaces - approve all of the generic customer interfaces and then you can put the custom ones in their own special place
-Some of these need to be industry specific - to approve for everyone.... For example - there are a lot of custom pages for MMJ and it would be really nice to be able to know what needs to be assigned for anyone in that industry
-Steve's making a Splash Homepage for MMJ, sounds great! Basically they get in and can decide whether they want to go from the Splash page - this can be in the chooser
-Expand the GPS graphic - it would be really neat to expand the new GPS graphic and make that into a really neat interface and homepage and then taking it to the next level - the graphical interface currently would be the main or home.... but then expand, so when you get into a sub homepage then you have about 3 sections... Section for the sub homepage, then little graphical buttons for all of these and your next steps... so what you can do from that homepage... and then what you can do with the data and having a special input link so you could type in the ID number for the item and then click on the graphical link you want - i.e. the main for that object, the line items for that object, etc., etc.
-Graphical display or something that we can continually use to show: Tips, news and info
-User guide: Tips, tricks, helpful info.....
-Prep the consultants - so that you can turn on those 2 main permissions and then let them go to it and set up those companies... that would be fantastic and help take the load off of Brandon and Steve so much
-Expose eCommerce - we could add validation, so if you don't have certain pieces it won't let you move forward.... let the system be the bad guy, work it through validation
****Empower the users**** - that is really what so many of these ideas are about
-Allow people to setup their own Merchant Processing - all of these things would be so great - it empowers the users and takes work off of adilas
-Allow them to setup their own logos... set up standards for what they need to have or if you don't know how to do a logo you could have a link that they could feed that to Russell or other developers that could work that, bill them directly, and create quite a few logos for them (Steve talked about this really cool idea that he heard from a gentleman about what he did to get his logo online - logos.com or something, but a really neat idea)
-3rd party settings:
**Adilas World NEEDS to come into play - so many skills and so many people that are ready and willing to help with things happening in adilas.... people want to play
-Developer's Notebook - get our back story
-Adilas University: Get the Help Files up there, SOP's, User Guide, Videos
-Training: multi-day mini sessions
-Categorize our videos, rate them, get them ready to be consumed easily
***API, API, API - that is where it is headed, that is where we need to go - MAKE ADILAS CONSUMABLE!!!
-Generating revenue: Set up your parameters & standards or maybe you do want to keep if flexible - but your setup and optimization fees, activation fees, etc......
-Having an adilas team that can pick up so many of these pieces that people are willing to pay for... pick up the money and projects from those that are around
-The byproducts are worth far more money than the actual code - training, consulting, custom pieces, .....
-Training - where do we want to go with this????
-Feb & March - Logan. April - ???? - Shari even offers one on one training at the training meetings that she does not charge for... good ideas, good stuff, such a great place for networking!!!!
-Mini training sessions - and charge for the mini sessions, topic specific possibly??? Or really super flexible, whatever you want to do with it
***Adilas World - networking capabilities,
**Our need is in trained people - there are so many clients and potential clients out there - but we NEED trained people - once you build that up, though there is the initial investing, then they turn around and can produce so much more
-Who can I grab and train? We can get people busy doing work in so many ways.
-Setting up mini sessions - let someone set it up and go with it
*Adilas eCommerce up and going - then you can start showing some of these pieces and start charging for some things
-Having a team that can help pick up the money - $$ - Custom pieces - having someone pick up what is already out there
-Custom pages - they are getting what they want, they are happy and those are some solid customers,
-Steve's charging $100 per client for setup right now... or if it's tiny $50 - very cool stuff
-Custom servers -custom boxes - we will be having clients that will want this, it is coming
-Hosting - this if following a similar model to how we even have been setup on servers, do you want your own environment, shared, semi-shared, etc., etc.
-We are excited where things are going and we will just keep moving forward! :)
-We need to help people feel like they can succeed once they get in adilas... we want to empower the users... but we don't want to make them feel like they are alone in this big forest. Good stuff coming!
-Trained people are going to make money - we need to help them get the skills.
-Interesting - it's often not when people are slow that they want to get all their stuff together, but it's often when they are busy and they feel like, yes, I need help, I need to get organized, I need to get things together.
-Certificate of training - makes them feel like they have value.
-Steve would also like to work into doing some workshops in some big cities, maybe do some consulting, networking, that could be some great work
-Possibly Texas for April training - that could be a really neat opportunity
-Work some mini sessions in Denver. That could be huge! Charge for the mini sessions, you have so many potential workers or people teaching.
-Shari, was also expressing that you could do an 8 hour session or something....then it was inputted that you can break it up with some flex time, but then you can say from here to here we are covering this (i.e. 9-11 E/R's, 12-2 B.S., 3-5 ???? whatever you want).... maybe give yourself an hour in-between the sessions so that they can network and you can move on to your next training on time... etc. That could be a great setup
-Or schedule some time and create sectioned mini sections so that you can have focused classes that they can pay for. Great stuff! Charge $25 a class.
-Chatting about someone in Texas that could set us up with something - a venue, etc., etc.
*Mini sessions in Denver - because Denver could use a training session every month for sure - take care of the user base in Colorado, keep things going here
-Longer training elsewhere
-All sorts of stuff - have specific topics, or even industry specific topics, you could have a rep/consultant only class
-With the mini sessions - if we set it up for a focused topic and ask people to pay, then we do not stray from that either, that is where the focus needs to be
-Trying to get more people to the Logan trainings.
