Printable Invoice
This is the printable invoice page. This page may be used for internal use and/or customer copies. This invoice (also known as a customer receipt) may be printed as many times as needed. If the customer makes multiple payments and has a remaining balance to pay, it will show the payment history to date.

Invoices are very flexible. There are multiple views (ways to show the information), show/hide options, additional add on's, etc. Invoices have and use a number of different corp-wide settings to control output, format, default views, naming conventions, disclaimers, signatures, and other settings. You do have to be an admin user to view the corp-wide settings, but if you have the permissions, you can really tweak this out. Here is a help file link for the different corp-wide settings that are available (over 20+ settings deal with invoices).

If your invoice has one or more elements of time assigned to it, there will be a toggle switch that allows you to show or hide the assigned elements of time for printing and saving. As a note, if you chose to hide the elements of time, they are still attached, just not shown. If you are trying to send and save a pdf document, get this printable invoice looking correct and then click the "save as pdf document" link. This link will take whatever your current settings (show/hide time) are and will pass it to the conversion page. The same is true for the printer friendly invoice, mini version, and limited format invoices. Basically, use the toggle switch to show/hide the elements of time and then click on the desired version of the invoice and the settings will be passed to the correct page.

More information about the "save as pdf document" link: By clicking this link, the invoice will be created into a pdf that can be printed, emailed, and saved on your hard drive. Once you get to the adobe acrobat reader screen, make sure that the file finishes building before saving or printing. To save the file you must choose "file/save as" to actually save the file. This allows the invoice to be available without being logged into the system. For instance, say a customer buys something and is not present to get the invoice. You could save it and then attach it to an email for them to print at their leisure.

The pdf document will be set to a scale of 95% of the actual size by default. If for some reason, you need to make the invoice smaller or larger, you may change the scale to a different value. The scale value can be found in the URL string (web address) for the pdf document. Example: scale=95, scale=75, scale=100. The max value is 100.

The link "duplicate invoice to cart" may be used to recreate the exact invoice details (main and line item info) and repopulate the shopping cart. From there, it may be modified, saved, completed (checkout), and made into a new standalone invoice.

There is also a link for the "mini version" of the invoice. This is the same invoice info, just in a 3" format (3 1/8in or 80mm). This invoice may be printed on a normal 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper or it may be printed on a mini receipt printer. If you choose to use a mini receipt printer, we recommend that you change the margins on your browser. This can be done by clicking on the File menu inside of the browser. Click "File/Page Setup..." and change the margins to 0.2 or 0.25. This will help center the invoice for printing. If you need more info, contact Brandon Moore for help with this: 435.258.5504 or email support@adilas.biz.

There is no set printer that must be used to print the mini invoice. Any brand name printer should work and will be used just as a laser or ink jet printer is used (printing right from the web or a browser). The only requirements are that it can handle the 3" format and it can be accessed as a desktop printer. If you are looking in to getting a mini receipt printer, we would recommend something like a Star Micronics TSP100, thermal transfer printer, USB, Tear Bar or Auto Cut. You can find these little printers for about $180 to $210 at any online vendor. Here is a link to POS World for some of their printers.
