Add New Timecard
This page is where a manager or admin person may add a new timecard for a user or employee. This allows the admin person to assign the timecard to a user, department, and set the in and out date/time all from one page. This should be used for things like vacation pay, sick leave, or jury duty. Here is a break down of the fields:

1. Add Timecard For - Choose a user from the list provided. If needed, you may click the link to the side that says show all users. This will include both active and inactive users in the list.

2. Department - Choose a department from the list provided. The application will run a test to make sure that the user is assigned to that department before allowing the add to take place.

3. In Date - Set the clock-in date. Use m/d/yy format.

4. In Time - Set the clock-in time. Use the h:mm:ss AM/PM format. It also works if you put something like 8:00 am instead of 8:00:00 am.

5. In Reason - Choose from the list of reasons provided. Required

6. In Notes - Required with a max of 255 and a min of 3 characters.

7. Out Date - Set the clock-out date. As a note - it must match the in date or it will cause a problem when it goes through payroll. Use m/d/yy format.

8. Out Time - Set the clock-out time. Use the h:mm:ss AM/PM format. It also works if you put something like 5:00 pm instead of 5:00:00 pm.

9. Out Reason - Choose from the list of reasons provided. Required

10. Out Notes - Required with a max of 255 and a min of 3 characters.

Special note: If you use this feature, the record or timecard will be flagged as entered via the special feature.
