This is a special sales and breakdown page that was requested by an operations manager by the name of Phillip Knox, out of Canada. While we were onsite with Phillip, he was requesting certain values and the ability to compare or run comparisons against different date ranges and/or data sets. Thus, the Knox report was born.

The page has two main sections. The left portion is where you set the date range and control which location to show data on. As a note, there is a button that allows you to set a second date range and location. If used, the comparison will show up. If not, the main date range and location will produce sales numbers for that period. All numbers are live and may be searched at any time, even right in the middle of the day. Results will show what has been recorded, based on the criteria.

The results will show up on the right-hand side in what we call a vertical tab set. Feel free to click on the different sections to see the different values. All values will be shown on this right-hand area. Main sections are things like: Operational Stats or Transactions, Total Sales Breakdown, Payment Types, Loyalty Points & Gift Cards, and E-Commerce Sales.
