Master Special Account Rules Setup
This is a high level page where a system admin person and/or master developer (backend coder) can come in and tweak and do some special account rule changes. Special accounts deal with things like rewards, customer loyalty points, gift cards, in-store credit, etc. Each of those account types have what are called rules or special account rules. This is the page to add/edit those master level rules.

Use the form at the top to interact with the page. Depending on the master account type, the rules will show up at the bottom of the page. Click on the id link to edit each of the rules.

The fields are:

Id - This is the auto id for the special account rule. It will be the string new, if in add mode. It will be the actual id, if in edit mode.

Master Special Account Rule Name - This is where the rule gets it main verbiage and/or name. This could be things like earning rate, program start date, display on receipt, etc.

Master Special Account Rule Data Type - Choose a data type from the list provided. This deals with defaults, validation, and expectations of what the rule will hold. Is it going to be a date, a string, a numeric value, a decimal, a toggle switch (on/off or yes/no), etc.

Master Special Account Rule Default Value - This is the field where the default value goes. This will be based on the data type. This value will end up being pushed out to each corporation to help with their special account setup. The default value creates a good starting point and/or helps lead the user to know what is needed.

Master Special Account Rule Meaning - This is like a mini description for the rules. This is where we describe what each rule does and/or needs to be used.

Master Special Account Rule Sort - This is a numeric sort number that allows the rules to be manually sorted based on the values in the sort field.

Master Special Account Rule Status - Active means use and show. Inactive means don't use and/or hide.
