Add/Edit Corporations

This is the add/edit corporation page. This page sets up a corporation (corp) and its look and feel. If you are modifying the look and feel, we highly suggest that you do it during non-peak or low traffic times. There is also a link at the top of the page (in edit mode) that will allow you setup more advanced settings and defaults called corp-wide settings. Below is a list of fields and what they do:
1. Corp Id - This is the id number assigned to each corporation. In the add mode (admin only), the field requires either the keyword "next" or a valid numeric value. The keyword next will let the system assign the new number. A valid numeric value will try to add that a the new corp id number. 2. Corp Name - This is the name of the corp that will show up on the bottom of the main switchboard page (homepage). Max of 100 and min of 2. 3. Corp Initials - This is a quick way of dealing with the corp name. Max of 10 and min of 2. 4. Corp Address - This is the corporation mailing address. Max of 100 min of 2. 5. Corp Address 2 - Optional address field. Max of 100. 6. City - The corporation city. Max of 50 and min of 2. 7. State - Choose from the listed provided. 8. Zip - Enter the zip code of the corporation. Max of 15 min of 5 chars. 9. Country - Choose a country from the list provided. These countries are tied to the payroll section of the application. If you need custom payroll info, contact us: support@adilas.biz. 10. EIN - The Employer Identification Number is required and has a max of 25 and a min of 5. 11. Phone - This is the primary phone number for the corporate office. Max of 25 and min of 7. 12. Main E-mail - This is the main corporate email address. Must be a valid email address. Ex: someone@somedomain.com 13. Main Web Address - This is the main website were the corp does business online. Ex: www.somedomain.com or data0.adilas.biz 14. Calculate Overtime Over (hours) - Enter the hourly cap for normal hours worked in a week. The default is 40 hours. This number is used in calculating payroll. Anything over this number, if the personal calculate overtime setting is turned on, will be recorded as overtime. The value must be between 1 and 99. 15. Corp Start Date - This is the date that the corp was set up and started doing business. Use the m/d/yy format. Ex: 6/7/07 16. Corp End Date - This is the date the corp stops doing business. Don't worry about this date until the corp no longer conducts business or transactions. 17. Corp Status - This allows the corp to participate in the system. If marked inactive. All users and permissions under that corp are disabled. They are not deleted and the corp can return to active status with the click of a button. All other pieces will be held in place. 18. Corp Notes - The notes are optional and may contain any notes about the corp or its business. The bottom section is called the corp look and feel. This is how the corporation's identity is passed and shown from page to page. All the fields are required and may be changed at any time, Use the color picker (below the logo path) to help you get the hexadecimal numbers that relate to colors on the web. Each color needs six (6) letters and/or numbers. For example: black = "000000" and white = "FFFFFF". The default logo is located at: "../images/default_logo.gif". The logos will need to be uploaded into the images folder by an administrator. The size for the logos is 83 x 83 (in pixels). If you have questions, please contact a system administrator. Send your logos to: support@adilas.biz. Once they are posted online and tied in to your site, the administrator will let you know. If you don't have a logo or don't know how to size it... no problem, just send it to us and we will get it posted for you at no extra cost. If we make you look good, it makes us look good! :) |
