On the phone with Calvin. He has a client that would like him to add some new sub inventory (sub) rules. One of the things is dealing with barcodes and how to sell out of the oldest package first. Another one is dealing with visibility of the subs. By default, the subs are somewhat hidden until someone clicks the link/button that says show subs. The page then shows that part of the data and waits for the user to interact. We have had a couple of companies want us to show all subs automatically, only show open subs, or leave as is (hidden by default). More rules and settings. They also expressed some interest in being able to sort sub inventory (not sure how deep) when showing the sub inventory values. All of these sub rules and sub settings would need to be held on the sub inventory template level. These are tied to the main part categories table. |
