Notes:

Cory and I were going to have a meeting about things that we could tighten up on the data 0 box. Before we got into that, we talked about some of the Flash conversion stuff and possible options there...

We could switch to PDF's, programmatically alter the PDF's, do custom black box code and use the check write system as a PDF form. We could do the same things for the labels if we absolutely have to. It has been kinda a pain to deal with the Flash conversion stuff. We still have some options.

Getting back to the server health. We went through the top 10 pages that were being abused (by a hacker) and briefly talked about each page or sets of pages. We covered a number of topics. We talked about server health, usage on data 0, getting John in there working with Wayne, custom error messages, more robust passwords, other plans, and possible work arounds. Fairly deep topic, that ranged all over the place.

As one of our ideas, we talked about splitting off certain pieces of the data 0 server to their own places and/or virtual playgrounds. Instead of getting all of the traffic to one spot, we could spread things out and almost create virtual practice dummy type modules on other serves. We have already moved off the news and updates to another server. We could do the same things with the developer's notebook, some of the free dev tools, calculators, barcode generators, and even the main adilas web page. If someone breaks or hacks that server, it is a virtual dead end, it doesn't really connect to anything else.

Anyways, a number of different possible strategies to make things more solid and prepare for the future. Good stuff.
