Notes:

Shannon and I went over a bunch of the current things that we are learning today for our meeting. Lots of drawing and sketching and talking. Without the drawings, this may seem like a random mess, but here is what we were talking about...

- Our subject is accounting and operations. If there is anything in those two topics, we are interested. Our product and platform is an operation tool that does accounting based off of the operations.

- We are seeing the role of CPA's (certified public accounts) playing a vital role is what we are doing. If a CPA catches the vision, they could potentially handle more clients and help with other services such as oversite (oversight) and other supportive services. 

- We would love to keep pushing toward more and more white label type options.

- We watch trends over time vs just making quick decisions. That seems to be part of my job and recording the story.

- Our model is moving more towards a reoccurring monthly platform plus the business services needed to support that model.

- Lots of talks about the current pain that companies have in trying to mash-up and/or marry together multiple different software packages to get the whole. We would love to keep working our whole or systemized business platform that puts all of those pieces in one place vs all over the place.

- A business decision of getting out of the way. Dealing with being able to spread the load. Talks about super man vs a series of smaller teams to get things done.

- Levels of aggregation and where we are headed. Think of a triangle. Transactional data as a base, then build up as needed... daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, etc.

- The value of flex or flexibility

- We want to work on a plan for where we are headed... Having said that, plans change all the time. We are thinking of putting together a plan with a general direction vs a hard/fast super solid plan. That may not work for us (super fixed or solid). We live on a moving, breathing, and changing landscape.

- Funnels - we were talking about vertical funnels, upside down funnels, and even sideways funnels. They come in all shapes and sizes. The concept of a funnel is take a bunch of stuff, and eventually get it going in a wanted direction. That (as a concept) could come from any direction. We have tons of recorded records and data, as we bring it together, we will virtually funnel it down and then figure out where it needs to go. Funnels are a great analogy for taking tons of random pieces, pouring or pushing them all together, and then getting something out the other end. We do this kind of thing all the time.

- We keep watching how things keep moving and trending. That is part of being part of an idea farm, like adilas.biz!
