Alan and I had a longer session today. We did some testing and debugging on some new expense/receipt services and DAO's (database access objects). Some of the older expense/receipt stuff has special ways of getting to it that Alan didn't know. For example: Making expenses after payroll, PO payables, reimbursements, paying things on account (splits), making stock/unit payments (base prices and floorplans), and other custom expense/receipt stuff.

After we got done with that, we jumped over to a project that he is currently planning. It is dealing with his cross corp vendors stuff and doing cross corp mapping and top-down controls where an enterprise system would have a master list of vendors and the sub or transactional systems under the master corporation (enterprise system) would only be able to use the master list of vendors. We would have to map things, and also monitor changes and updates (cascading changes). Pretty deep but should be a good project. This is the first of many on that master/slave (enterprise to transactional systems) level. Currently, he is still in the planning stage and hasn't started coding yet.
