| Meeting with Bryan to go over a few projects. We started out with a code sign-off for a client that wanted some black box and rounding to the nearest minute for employee time clocks (clock in/out's). We then spent some time talking about custom barcode labels. We have had some requests to get custom labels and be able to control spacing, sizes, font sizes, placement, barcode sizes, font orientation, etc. We have also had requests to be able to do bulk or batch processing. We have also had requests to be able to save and store custom settings. The other request deals with being able to select certain items or products and specify how many of each as a batch print job. Many of these things are fun ideas but may require us to build out a custom label printing app or something similar. In the mean time, we looked at both Flash and custom PDF options. I pointed Bryan to some files we did for Trinity Fasteners dealing with custom barcode labels and different sizes. |
