On white labeling... we need to set up our own company as if we were one giant white label. Think of the options for ski areas, campgrounds, nurseries, trailer dealers, insurance agents, law firms, toy stores, bowling supplies, etc. We could do special interfaces and custom themes for waste management, hazmat, agriculture, restaurants, deli's, hair salons, motor sports, you name it. Our goal is going to be providing the underlying platform and system to support these different white labeling options. That is where we need to keep heading. Good stuff. Working with Steve on the morning GoToMeeting. We had Wayne and Eric pop in at different times. We have a lot of great people working with us. Most of the session was doing individual projects. Steve was working on his plant phases and sub phases stuff. I was working on the main elements of time page. I added in a general text filter and worked on the next month and previous month buttons to allow them to go on and on forever in any direction. We also talked about helping our developers with ideas and direction. If they get a big project, we want to put in our two cents on how things could and/or should work with the system as a whole. We don't want a ton of small band-aid type projects, we want the whole thing to work as a platform and cohesive system. anyways, we chatted about options to help our guys out and even pushing monies their way to help it all tie-in together. |
