notes_with_newtek_about_servers.txt   Doc/Text 1/11/2017 Notes from a conference call (GoToMeeting session) with Newtek. They are the server farm that we deal with for hardware and servers. They are our data center.

Notes:
On a GoToMeeting session with Newtek. They had Adam and Andrew on the line. We had Steve, myself, and Bryan on the line. We started out and talked about back-up plans, disaster recovery, and storage options. We then let them talk a little bit about a cloud based VPS type system. We took some notes (see attached) and went over some ideas. After that, we did a small walk through demo and tried to show them what we have and a small vision of where we are going - world building concepts.

We used the GoToMeeting tools and did a lot of drawing and pitching of our ideas. We used a bunch of the graphics that we have already made and then drew on top of those graphics to illustrate different points. They are going to look deeper into our account and get back with us on some suggestions. Good meeting overall.

I think it helped them get an idea of what we have going on. That, in and of itself, will really help. They most likely will need more of that as it is somewhat hard to wrap your head around from only one meeting. That is ok, we'll just keep going and hopefully it will sink in deeper and deeper. We are excited to get some professional help from the actual data center people. That will be good.
