On a Zoom session with Russell. He showed me some of the new progress he is making with the AFB blog and what not. It is looking good. On a side note, we used to add 5-10 new settings at a time. Russell is adding hundreds and hundreds of new settings each time. Pretty crazy. We pushed some code around and switched gears. I pulled down his branch and we started in on another part of the project. As we got in to it, we ended up on a lengthy conversation about how we going to structure things and some simple rules about adding new settings and database fields to existing tables. We have to figure out what we want. Sometimes things happen so quickly, you almost feel powerless to effect a change. Or sometimes you get so overwhelmed, it is hard to make a choice on what is happening in the future. You almost feel locked down and unable to make a decision. Very interesting. Long story made short, we bought some time and I told Russell that I would talk to Steve about things. All is well. |
