Notes:
Alan showed me his progress on the new EMV chip reader and credit card gateway integration. Pretty cool. The craziest part of the project has been interfacing with the custom software and chip reader. The gateway piece has been fairly straight forward.

Alan then helped me with some regular expressions. I have been stuck on some code for weeks now. Alan helped me figure things out within about an hour of playing around. I'm very grateful for his help. Good stuff.
