Notes:
We got a request to help with holiday pay for employees. Basically, the owners would like to select a date and set it as a holiday. Then when the users clock in/out on that day, it would treat things as holiday pay. Currently, they have to calculate and do this manually. Basically, they would like to see if be more automated.

Also, on overtime, they would like the system to note when certain things happen on a daily basis. Some of them are paying overtime per day vs. overtime per week. Anyways, we may need to take it a bit deeper as well. See the sub notes for the actual email that was sent.

Original Email 6/18/2016 7:54 am Brandon Moore Debi,
Good Morning! Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been pretty slammed lately. Also, I did want to let you know that I got your other email, I just couldn’t get to it in a timely manner. Crazy times.

I have recorded the ideas in our log book. Currently, we are making changes as we can while doing other custom projects. The entire system has changed for us and how we run things. We used to do all of the changes internally and then just suck up the development costs. In the last two years, our process has changed and we have to pay out real developers to make and do the changes now. We still love ideas, they just cost us more to develop and deploy now. That runs us into a tight spot as funds are always tight and/or being spent on other features or projects.

If you want those new features (automated holiday pay and daily overtime calcs), we are happy to quote them out for you and/or your clients. We just can’t jump on them at this time for free. I hope you understand. Anyways, if you want a quote, please let us know and we’ll go from there. Thanks Debi and enjoy your day!

P.S. If you have more ideas, we’ll still happily take them and record them. We just can’t promise how quick we can get to them. We are building a back log so that they have a spot to go, we just can’t turn them right now without external funding.

Subject: Holiday Pay

Hi Brandon,
since we have been doing this for quite a while, I'm wondering if there is a way to designate a calendar day in time cards as a holiday so that all employees that work that day are payed holiday pay and it is entered on the holiday pay line on the paycheck automatically? Or do we have to figure it manually as we have been doing.

Also will there ever be a time that adilas catches 12+ hr days and figures that into overtime?
