On an hour long phone call with Steve. We talked a whole lot about where we are going and how things keep changing on us. We talked about some of our pain spots and also about some good things. We are pioneering things in our industry. That is fun but could also be a pain. One of the take away pieces of our conversation was that other companies will end up experimenting and experiencing some of the same pains that we have gone through. As things go from a primary level into a sub level, things get more integrated and more complicated. I mentioned to Steve that we have projects like sub settings, sub locations, sub phases, sub permissions, sub inventory, etc. At some point, other companies may have those same problems and needs. We also talked about focusing on the positive and taking a second to step back and see what we are really accomplishing. Sometimes when you are in the heat of the moment, you can't see the progress that is being made. Things take time, and that is ok. We then jumped on a GoToMeeting session and went over some of the new gram tracking changes that I pushed over to him this morning. We then looked into some possible bugs with sub inventory. |
