Notes:
Helping Bryan with some adilas API socket stuff. He got a couple of the easy ones done and then landed on a hard one. It had a number of problems and issues. I worked with him to help him get some ideas on how to tackle and even work backwards on some of the problems. Basically, start with the goal and then work the arguments, params, validation, and defaults backwards to go from the goal to real life.
