Maintenance To-do List 5/24/2016 10:31 am Shannon Scoffield A few things need maintenance help & how do we pay for that - who foots that bill???:

Maintenance Needs:
-API work - 60 pages in the API need some lovin' --- need to standardize some things - that is the goal here -- Socket connections that have already been done but have never been documented or tested & kicked very hard
-Sub-inventory (30+ pages) need some help & lovin'
-Need to add a thing called "Sub-part categories" - make categorizing stackable
-Sub-inventory needs to get out to eCommerce & there is more interest here again & again -- But we need a more advanced developer on this project -- very deep & lots of variables
-Password reset & forgot login information - broken since 2014
-Shopping cart logic that needs to be pulled out of page by page flow & be put into a brain type technology, that we could access the brain
-eCommerce work: needs for shipping, PayPal, cascading sub-inventory out to eCommerce (Russ is doing a bunch of work out there, he might need some help though)
-Virtually no help files were written for the past year & a half
-No help files for sub-inventory, bank transfers, cross-corp stuff, Steve's reports, new settings
-Lots of new settings that need to be tightened up a little more
-We started a new look & feel piece called "pick a color" - but we could finish that up, attribute your look & feel easier
-Started the developer notebook - keep going forward as we can
-We would love to get into splitting up the worlds & databases - WORLD BUILDING - that would really be helped if we split things up
-Tons of code out on BitBucket & our source control that we have paid for & we don't even know what is out there
-Elements of Time has had a bunch of things that have been prepped & it would be great to finish it up and get it in there:
---Sub-sign off's,
---Sub payroll,
---Sub any assignments (Alan might be good to help here)
-Cascading the sub locations & sub phases to invoices & other application players - we could really see a use for this on invoices
-Added a ton of new settings to the flex grid but we haven't been able to tighten them up and use them: sub id's, table names, cross-corp connections, etc.
-Dreamland: it would be awesome if at some point we could introduce real-in line database extensions (Basically people could extend or shorten their own databases -- change names, order, flow, adjust their own databases, tuck in custom settings so that they feel more natural & native.)
-Tons of stuff listed in the notebooks, it would be worthwhile to search the backlog of ideas & bugs & whatever from the developer's notebooks
-We don't really have the admin structure of who is leading this band - but that takes $ & resources
-Tons more but it keeps going... & going... & going... :)

These all take time & money so we just don't know where the resources are going to come from to approach these...
Discussing with Brandon 5/24/2016 10:09 am Shannon Scoffield -The main driving force for custom projects has been Steve.
-But we need to get some processes in place so that we can be better at our deliverables. This seems to slow the bus down considerably.

***What do we need to do to improve our flow & turn-over time???***
-Setup a standard way for projects getting entered into the system
-Who is in charge of taking it to the next level
-Who is in charge of each piece? Accountability!
-Collect enough info initially to make a valid quote, so that we can get quotes pushed back out to them --- then if it dies from there
-Quote turn-around needs to be prompt - when they are excited & enthusiastic about the project
Project Management 5/24/2016 9:49 am Shannon Scoffield Read Project Management Document -- EOT #1226
-Work on process, flow, etc. for the shop
-Connect with Dave & setup some checks, balances, & processes
