Online meeting with Bill and Aston from Aizoh Capital. We chatted and they had a number of questions for me. They encouraged me to put together a small data room or at least put all of the needed documents in a place where you can get at them. They recommended, even a google drive, or some other shared folder. Really simple. I was expecting something more formal. As a fun side note, Bill provided me with a written list of what documents they are looking for. That will really help. (see attached).
Most of the conversation was between Bill and I. For this meeting, Aston didn't say much. Lots of questions about sales, revenue, plans, verticals, and team level capacity stuff. We briefly talked about an independent rep model and the pros and cons from that venture. This was our original sales model. It worked great but was somewhat hard to scale, due to a lack of set standards and expectations. I would love to bring it back, but have a plan for it and also some ownership and leadership, in order to really make it work well. As a comment on this independent model, this is now a number of times that people have seemed interested in this model and see potential, but we don't have the rules or regulations set yet. This could be promising. |
