Small intro meeting. Meeting with Aston from Aizoh Capital. We just chatted for half an hour and talked about some different options. Here is a super quick list from a couple of post-it notes that I took during the meeting: - We need a deck - We need a data room - show everything - Investors want to see IP, business plans, tax records, etc. If you think they may or may not, hedge towards they want to see it. - You have to reach out to thousands of investors. People don't usually queue up or line up. - We talked some fees - both frontend fees and backend commissions - there were various options based on the reach, the help, the amount of handholding, etc. - I stated that we were looking for about $2 million dollars to do a commercialization round - Aston was saying that sometimes raising more is easier than raising small. The investors put a value on what you are wanting to raise. - Nice conversation - One of his biggest recommendations was get some help vs trying to do it by yourself. He said, that would be his biggest advice. |
