Meeting with Hamid. We were talking about corporate structure and the role of managers. He works at Walmart. At the store level (not the whole global level) they have a main manager, teams and coaches, team leads, and team associates - even they are trying to simplify things.

Inside of adilas, we tend to have a lack of structure, somewhat free floating, and everything is super loose.

Here are a few things that Hamid does to help motivate his team. Morning huddle, showing sales and stats, what is upcoming, keep it fresh and encouraging them, they bring him their concerns, try to motivate them, some rah-rah (even when he doesn't feel that way), quick messages, keeping touch throughout the whole day, small rewards for doing good, get to know them - even outside of work, if they are burnt-out, let them try something different.

Putting value to the versatile or multi-talented folks - you are the best resource that I have for this job.

Towards the end of our meeting, we went over some CSS training. A lot of it today was talking about management styles and sharing some info and stories.
