Notes:

Reviewing a YouTube video that Steve sent to me. This is my second time watching it. I decided to take a few notes. The video was a tech talk from Tom Enden at a Wix Engineering Conference. Here are some of my notes:

- Being proud of code that I didn't write.

- Going beyond the building of the systems and into what is possible.

- He was proposing that English, real conversations and dialogue, are a rung in the ladder (changes in coding languages). That's the new coding language (English or plain speech).

- The power of dialogue and being involved, participating, guiding, prompting, etc. Not outsourcing thinking but making people think.

- One of the next topics was dealing with who owns the code? Distributed authorship and being original and yet building on top of other choices and decisions.

- We never have controlled all of the pieces; this seems to be a continuation of the same process. We assemble and put things together.

- Leveraging AI and being willing to stand behind it.

- Talking about "taste" and what you want. He was talking about taste as a skill.

- Judgement and choosing what to build. That is becoming the work now vs pure coding.

- Great video, I enjoyed it. Less than 20 minutes. Here is the YouTube link - Web link
