Phone call with Josh. He wants me to jump in and help them do a bunch of user interface changes inside of adilas. I told him that I was working on some other pieces and projects. Everybody thinks that the existing adilas platform is our full product. In some ways, that is correct. In my mind, the existing system is just the working prototype of what it could be, not the actual final product. We get judged super harshly on what it looks like. That was not the original goal. The original goal was more of a "could we" and "can we" do this and that? Okay, now that we can see that, the goal needs to switch, but that was not the original goal. The current adilas.biz system is just a prototype of where we want it to go.

The other thing that we keep seeing is that certain people are judging us saying, why don't you do this and that? They are great questions and they have a valid point. However, they kind of just expect us to do it, not thinking about how much that costs or the time that it would take. We have taken a different path through the woods, people like a lot of what we have done and/or are doing. They just expect it to be fully done and wrapped up (all shinny). We have been building this out of a garage and bootstrapping it along, the whole way. this is where we are at.

I really hope that we can get someone to see, wow, if I put some money in and help fund this (gas money or seed money), we could take this whole product, system, application, and platform super far. If not, meaning we don't get outside funding, we'll just keep chipping away at it as we can. I know that it is bigger than I am.

I really like the idea of being a pioneer and helping to pave the road for other future generations. I don't have to build the whole thing, I just want to keep helping and smooth the way for others.
