Funny how it comes back to “time”. -Steve and I had a phone call and talked about a grouped pricing structure for parts (items). This would be quantity specific and then grades and levels. The trick is the group has subs (1 to many) and all changes happen on the group level not the individual item level. Basically, pull it (the price and quantity structure) up a level. -What about a transition PO – something that is kind of real but still in the “transition” like a transition invoice. If yes, we hold all of the info and payments on the balance sheet until it goes real. We need to cover the pre-payment and not fully in play states of things. This could be orders, items in transit, etc. |
