-Go back through the system defaults and give them a check-up. Get Steve on the phone to help. He does set-ups all the time. For example: Make the part number Discount set to taxable by default. -A funnel is a great teaching tool. Put in something big and eventually funnel it down to where you need to work… For example: - Database - Tables - Queries - Records - Columns - Values -Put up the old ColdFusion training courses from the first round of interns. We also have over 100+ hours of normal adilas training videos that we can pass on. We need to start using that training to help speed up the process to get those guys and gals up to speed as quickly as possible. We have hours and hours of brainstorming, drawing, teaching, and responding to questions. Use all of the GoToMeeting recordings that we have. What an asset. -Authorize 20 hours of viewing ColdFusion training and/or adilas training videos. Do this for all interns, new developers, and even existing developers. Along with that, require them to return and report on what they are learning. Allow them to skip around at will but have them log the hours and take notes or practice on their own. They need to report back on what they did. -Here we go! Yee Haw! |
