Notes:
• New logo for a client. Posted new logo and colors online.
• Copying video footage to jump dives. Over 250+ hours of training footage per jump drive. That is awesome.
• On the phone with Steve going over new updates and progress. He just got off the phone with a server rep talking about new servers and possible options for custom plans. We also talked about using video in helping to train new developers and new reps. Great resource.
• Reviewing some pieces with an intern that he had watched in the training videos.
• The intern and I were going line by line through a custom data upload document. As a fun exercise, we did a number of small or mini assignments to work on concepts. We even planned on paper before going to the computer.
• Recording notes and burning videos onto jump drives.
• Working on hooks, custom code options, and mini black boxes for cart alerts and promotions. Also had a tech support call on internal invoices for stock/units (transferring inventory from parts to a stock/unit). We also talked about shipping options for eCommerce. A client in Texas is the one wanting the shipping options. They recently started up a motor sports aspect and want to sell part online. I told her that we want to play.
• On the phone with our client that does GPS tracking and with my dad. We did a GoToMeeting session. He showed us around the GPS world. I took 3 pages of notes. See notes on other page for details.
• Working more on the mini black boxes (top & bottom) for the shopping cart.
• Finished up the mini black boxes for the view cart page. Added a look-up for custom code and custom document assignments. This puts a button right on the view cart page to help users get to custom code as quick as possible.
• Email update to Steve and the CO developer about new cart changes.
