• Answering emails. • Burning DVD copies of files and videos for back-up. Working with an intern to help him on the logic for a customer upload. Going column by column and adding the logic. • On the phone with Steve and an intern doing a GoToMeeting session. We started out looking at some split cart logic and custom reward points stuff. Steve was coding and the intern and I were following along. We then switched modes and I was coding on in-line discounts and they were helping me. We kind of got lost in the logic and ended up in MS Word and MS Excel doing math. Good session. • Steve is really excited about putting out Internal 3rd party solutions and then paying monies back to developers as our clients use their internal 3rd party solutions. We spend quite a bit of time talking about customer shopping carts, black boxes, and access points – fully custom skins and options. Super cool! • Helping my brother get started with ColdFusion training videos. The one from 11/13/13 has a good section on lists, arrays, and structures. Good stuff. Recording notes on what is going on. • On the phone with my sister going over eCommerce settings. She will be onsite tomorrow with a client from Salt Lake. She was brushing up on setup pieces. • An intern came over and was working on methods for the web/API documentation project. • The other intern, my brother, was doing some ColdFusion video training and taking notes. He was having fun. I also got a call from the developer in Salida who wanted to talk about a couple custom projects. We talked about a new CSV file upload system for products and items. We also talked about custom code options for the shopping cart. This includes cart alerts, reward points, custom documents, and custom layout and flow options. Crazy busy afternoon. • Working with an intern to install Dreamweaver and Flash on a laptop. Started working on new black boxes on the view cart page. These will be mini placeholders for cart alerts, rewards points, marketing, and promotions. • Burning DVD copies of video and training clips. Recording notes and trying to get organized. Reviewing video clips. |
