-We had a request to be able to save advanced customer search options for custom reports. We are going to get more and more of these types of request. Users want to cut steps and save settings and search criteria. We already have the tools… we just need to implement them. -Quote from a developer – “The lines contain the data.” Basically, let the line items (the details) contain and hold the data. This will help later on with look-ups and reports. On sub dividing pieces into smaller sections… The goal is to add granular level controls. Having said that, it would also be very nice if we had pre-built bigger sections if we want to run fast or want to run in bulk. Think of bread as an example…. (please see sketches in photo gallery) - Loaf – (large or bulk) general - Slice – (medium) some control - Cubes or sections – (small) fine level control - Mixed or different options – (variable) -It sure would be nice if we could control things at whatever level we needed it to be. That would be awesome! -The best solution is a mixed or variable option that fits your needs. Granular control is awesome but sometimes you need quick, bulk, grouped, or even generic. Think pre-set pieces, tools, and output. |
