LOGAN SEPTEMBER 2013 TRAINING Day 1 - -Tools brainstorming: Most tools have a great capacity but they have to be used to actually be able to function. Input necessary... one way to break any tool ever found... doing nothing. -Tools that we use: Features, advantages, and benefits... vs. Limitations and how do these tools break? -All data is live and searchable... serviceable... scalable... sustainable and secure. -Databases - relationship, relational models - stored in tables, references, potentially able to store millions and millions of records to connect, reference, relate with main ids, sub identifiers, with cascading effect. (Never tie things by name in a database table but by id tags/reference because then you can change the names (customize it) and still make all of the database connections) -Once something is in there you can search it - - you just need to know what field or area you are searching ***IDEA: What if you even listed out what people could potentially want to see after they have a function... or what options they have... it's in the links but maybe even knowing what thinks are available would help to know flow or where it shows up... -Sanitizing inputs - tech talk |
