• New logo for a company and emails. • Took a credit card payment over the phone for a client. Reset their login info and stuff. • Emails, phone calls, and tech support. • On the phone with Newtek checking on new servers. Trying to get organized and do some planning. As a note we will be changing some of the structure as follows: o Universe – Adilas Admin – (See 12/20/13 for new name changes) o Servers – Data or App servers o Worlds – Corporations with in a cluster or database • Light research on updates for ColdFusion. Checking out versions online. • Checking in on new servers and poking around a bit. They are brand new and totally blank servers. • Writing a special email with instructions for getting the new servers online and up and running. • An intern came over and we worked on more brainstorming on the new server clusters. We called Newtek and asked them about options for load balancing. There are some good options but I keep coming back to smaller independent models. It means more work but I can see some great advantages in going in that direction. We also talked about using cloud options but we decided to side table that for now. • Went out to my brother’s house to get some new video files. He has been working really hard and gave me tons of new files. I got 38 new video clips from June and July of 2013. I also got 4 new clips from an interview at Bridgerland. Good stuff. 30 miles. |
