Notes:
-Here is a gem from the training session with the teachers in Brigham City:
Easy on the “how”. Not so easy on the “what”.
This is a quote by one of the administrators from the school district. We were talking about delegating and what is the best way to do that. She also said that at first she would get a sick feeling in her stomach when she would delegate a task or something. After a while the sick feeling went away as she was able to let go. Sometimes the letting go is what is so scary. The other thing that she said was, use lots of communication to detail out the “what”, then go back and check on things.
-My notebook is becoming somewhat of a pain. It takes a lot of work and I’m feeling behind. On the other hand, it has also saved my bacon on countless occasions. Anyway, just recording a thought.
-It may be easier to go straight to digital (as far as my notebook)… but I don’t know if I want to do that. Either way, I need to get caught up and stay as caught up as possible. It kills me when I record it on scratch paper and then have to re-write it to put it into my real notebook. The problem is not the writing… the problem is being behind and so I don’t feel like I can record things in my real notebook as they happen. So I scribble on a piece of scratch paper and then get back to it when possible.
