• Working on the adilas security flyer text. Created a new flyer with security stuff and posted in online. • Working on a basic graphic to help explain the teacher/student interface. All the buttons are listed out and labeled. Posted the file online. • Went to Brigham City to meet with the head lady from a school district. Took her the new security flyer, did some light consulting, and promised her a quote. The teacher we have been working with was there and so were her supervisors. Good meeting. As a note, if all works out well, they, the school district, may be interested in other pieces that adilas has to offer. It sounded as if they have a large software package that isn’t working as well as they had hoped. 60 miles. • Phone calls, tech support and emails. • Went in to town to work with the interns. Two of them were there. We spent the first 1.5 hours brainstorming on flow and database options. We ended up deciding to go in a different direction. The new direction is more flexible, less rigid, and simpler. We took off the three deep groups, categories, and types and just added three open text fields for the categorizing pieces. Good step. Spent the rest of the time making changes and coding the add page. 30 miles. • Making a quote for a school district. Emails and recording notes in my notebook. |
