-Notes on custom projects. Email invoices and merge customer records. -During cart checkout, add a checkbox option to send an email or not. -Also add an after the fact email option from the invoice or printable invoice page. -Define a distribution list of who get the email notifications. -Better to offer the invoice as a gesture vs. hiding it. -When sending the email, include a link that will virtually login the user/customer in to the adilas eCommerce section so that they may continue to shop and/or view their online history and activity. -On emailing invoices… I see 3 different levels: 1. Send email as a PDF attachment. 2. Send email as the HTML version of the invoice, in-line. 3. Send a basic email with a link back to the eCommerce section and customer pay portal part of adilas. Leaning toward this option. |
