Notes:
• Playing with ideas for securing images in non-accessible folders. Light testing.
• On the phone with an intern doing a GoToMeeting session. We did a light intro to elements of time and what he will be working on. We talked about source control and sharing files. I also tried to share the vision of what we want from elements of time. It, element of time, is somewhat a precursor to what we want to do with the rest of the system. Meaning point and click interface for building master templates. Bolt-on functionality options (subs or functions), and multiple views such as calendar, time slot, groups, and details. Anyway, good stuff.
• Prepping files for an intern to work on elements of time. Posted a bunch of files online on an FTP server.
• A contact came over and we talked about adilas for a couple of hours. I explained some of the new visions, options, and different things that are going on. Our last meeting was back in early April of this year. We have come a long way since that meeting. Most of the progress has been figuring out what our model is and heading toward an eBusiness model with self-help and custom wire jobs. We’ve created new flyers, added video help, and even added a few new wire jobs along the way. We have the first round of eCommerce up and online. We have also started toward promoting adilas world. We’ve added content videos to adilasuniversity, and done hours and hours of training sessions. Good things are happening. He and I talked about funding, vision, and potential. We also talked about a business plan, pro-formas, and seeking investors. Lots of chat back and forth about what is still needed. I’m very grateful for his help, tutoring, and listening ear.
• Went in to town to help a guy who’s been joining our training sessions with his installation of his ColdFusion test server. Light ColdFusion training with he and some others there at Bridgerland. 30 miles.
• Working on the new Texas 130-U PDF state form for Texas Trailer Dealers.
• Answering and reading emails.
