• Went in to town to meet with some ladies at BATC. We setup in one of their offices for an adilas demo and an interview. They videotaped the interview. I also used GoToMeeting and captured a full screen capture of the session. The interview had a strong flavor of how BATC (Bridgerland Applied Technology College) has played a part of our success over the years. It was a fun demo and got to use the adilas toys. I used the receipt printers, barcode scanners, flatbed scanner, label printer, and the credit card swiper. It was fun and hopefully showed some good vision for the future. After the demo, I stayed and talked some business ideas with one of the ladies. She has a number of health coaches that need a mix between eCommerce, inventory tracking, and CRM functionality. She had some great ideas about eCommerce and potential flow. 30 miles. • My brother came over and we talked about future projects and marketing ideas. He showed me some of his drawings and concepts for adilas commercials. His skills are improving. He also got a new computer that should work awesome for him. We then spent almost an hour using a screen capture product called Camtasia Studio 8 by TechSmith. The product was quite slick and I could see some great potential. We did a few screen captures and recordings on sales, invoices, customer logs, timecards, payroll, shopping cart, my cart favorite buttons, etc. I can see us using this software for adilasuniversity, commercials, and other tech oriented videos. Great meeting! • Recording notes and transferring loose pages into my notebook. My sister had my notebook for a couple of days. |
