We need to get people access to their data... This actually helps us lower our liability in the case of disaster... If they have access to it and didn't ever use it, it falls on them not us. Giving people access to their data give them piece of mind as well... Let them get it how and when they want it (web, pdf, excel). Good stuff! Exports that need to be done: Invoices - done Customers - done Flex Grid - done PO's - done Parts - done Expense/Receipts - done Deposits Bank Registers or Bank Reconciliation Employees/Users Quotes Vendors Recipe/Builds Elements of Time Stock/Units P&L Balance Sheet Payroll Numbers On data imports... we are going to keep that on a custom level for right now. If we did provide a tool, we would need to allow for mapping or force everything to a standard data structure. The current vote is to keep the import of data on a custom (tech support) level. |
