Hi Stephan – I had miss understood what you were asking for. I had incorrectly though it was related to Avida. In re-reading, what you asking is how many locations are on FRAN or need new hardware.
In Canada: Yogen Fruz – 22 on Fran – one location needs new hardware (York University) The CNE runs on our back-up Fran we have at the office as the fair is only open for 19 days in August. Yogurty’s – 5 on Fran
In USA: Yogen Fruz – 4 on Fran
Puerto Rico: Yogen Fruz – 21 on Fran
We would also want to switch out Silverware POS system running in our Sweet Jesus locations. We have 4 of those on Ontario.

The P/L is populated Real Time from the Sales / POS / E-commerce processes. Any owner, employee or client that creates an invoice and the Invoice status is Live, automatically posts to the P&L. The Quantity / COGS / Taxes and all Inventory information lives on the Invoice Line and is created Real Time in the cart as the item is added. (we have a Transitional Invoice feature too that does not hit the P&L until flipped to Live. For example this Invoice status is used in companies that take deposits on sales of items awaiting Production)
The system tracks all Gift Card data in a separate table. It's a special payment type ledger that hits the Balance Sheet Real time to show you total Liabilities. You can drill down into each Gift Card purchase and see the Invoice the Gift Card was purchased on and the Invoice(s) that the Gift Card was redeemed on. Loyalty Points has a similar data structure but is tied to Customers. Gift Cards are tied to the Card number and then to the Invoices that occur. All Gift Card and Loyalty / Rewards data is posted Real Time to the P&L and Balance Sheet.
As Invoice Payments accumulate via the different Invoice process, the Payment table has a flag that shows whether or not the Invoice Payment has been deposited (meaning is it on a deposit or not) This allows the Balance Sheet to properly show the Asset called Payments not yet Deposited. As these payments are put on a Deposit that Asset goes down and the Bank Balance goes up with a Deposit. This Deposit shows to be Not Verified or Verified depending on the bank reconciliation functionality. There is a Bank Homepage where you can see all Deposits and all Invoice Payments not yet deposited. All this process is Real Time within the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
The different sales taxes are calculated at the Invoice Line level and then automatically posted to the Balance Sheet as a Liability. As payments are made for the sales taxes accrued the liability on the BS is reduced. All sales taxes per line item are stored and can be drilled into or shown on multi reports at any time. There are multiple tax per line options that include excise taxes, taxes by categories and multi municipality tax collection per line item. All sales taxes paid are recorded and checks can be printed out or ACH payments recorded. The system is a Paperless Office as well so the printed check can be scanned and uploaded as well as the tax form that is filled out or filed online.
Yes we have many Real Time accounts that are called System Generated Balance Sheet data. The user can additionally add as many User Maintained Balance Sheet Items The System Maintained Balance Sheet Items include but are not limited to: Assets - Current Assets - Cash/Bank Accounts Assets - Current Assets - Petty Cash Assets - Current Assets - Inventory Assets - Current Assets - Accounts Receivable Liabilities - Current Liabilities - Accounts Payable Liabilities - Current Liabilities - Other Current Liabilities Equity - Other Equity - Net Profit
A couple Examples: Liabilities - Long-Term Liabilities - Loans/Notes Payable Assets - Long-Term Assets (Fixed) - Equipment Equity - Capital - Paid In Capital Equity - Other Equity - Distributions Equity - Other Equity - Retained Earnings You can create and add any type of Asset / Liability / Equity account required
Will show you the Time Clock / Payroll functions. Tax tables will need to be added in for the different taxes in Canada. These are maintained and updated.
Allows for as many Banks as required and each has it's own reconciliation process. Can do bulk verification as payments clear or can tie into an automated Expense generation API with specific banks.
Inventory costing starts with a Parent / Child 3 dimensional process. All COGS are out to 5 decimals of accuracy. The Parent is the top level with Core componentes and unlimited Attributes The Child is created by each incoming PO (Invoice from Vendor) The Child has a unique ID number and it's own Core values and Unlimited Attributes. The Child holds the latest COGS and other real time information such as Expiration Date et cetera. As the oldest Child package is depleted by the Invoice Processes the next Child package is automatically opened and sales continue at the next COGS. COGS is posted to the P/L real time as each Live Invoice is completed. This gives your Perfect COGS not flawed like the fifth century LIFO and FIFO processes. There is reporting functionality that displays Average costs just for evaluations. However the system does not use Average COGS on the P/L like QB, this is very flawed. Worse even than LIFO or FIFO.
Each user has over 200 permission or access settings / limitations. Very deep dynamic naming conventions and individual page level or process level settings. We advise keeping the Balance Sheet in balance each day and reconciling accounts real time with online banking. All accounting data can be completed each day so technically the books should be up to date daily. That's what I love about accounting: it's finite data and if the physical daily progress is entered into the system the record set is perfect and does not need revisions.
Depending on Permissions and overall setup very flexible. The top level is called the Enterprise System and each underlying location is called the Transactional System. Access and functionality is dependent on settings and permissions. New Inventory Items are added to the Enterprise Level Catalog and then bulk pushed downward to the Transactional Systems. The Transactional System does not generally have access to the Enterprise level and this allows full control over Item naming conventions and other data such as Vendor, Categories, Units of Measurement et cetera. The Enterprise Level is also where the Core Customer catalog exists and each Transactional System can sell or record information on a case by case basis (also how Gift Card and Loyalty / Rewards data is Regionalized.)
They can run Store specific Reports or multi Store consolidated reports. Based on permissions and if they are 'Bridged' over to multi Transactional Systems. No problem for owners to have access to single or multi store data without seeing the Enterprise Level data (Yogen Fruz master level ERP) |

Good morning Moran and team, 1. Menu Boards Tabriz completed his testing of the Menu Boards at Square One. He was able to take over the hardware and display images as well as play videos from adilas. This is great news. Please see the attached images and video he provided. Currently adilas can control 3 menu boards. We will update the system to the ability to control 5 boards at no charge. Conclusion: This means you can have full control, the hardware is not locked down. Adilas can store and display static files as well as video files on all boards. 2. FRAN POS Tabriz also tried to update the operating system on the Fran, as instructed by Aaron, the goal was to use the existing hardware. He was unsuccessful as the Fran POS is locked down and he would need the password. He was able to print out a test page on the Fran printer from his phone. (meaning we can talk to the printer) He logged into adilas on the Fran POS and tried to use the Fran printer to print out an invoice from the adilas system but failed. Again he needed the password to add the Fran printer to the printer list available in the browser settings. He researched the split screen and again was blocked by the password prompt. Conclusion: The Fran POS can be used as a POS but the print function and split screen functions are inoperable without the password from FRAN. Follow Up: With the Fran POS password he believes all hardware from Fran would be operational and controlled by adilas. 3. YF Website After receiving the Wireframe Charles recreated the quote for the YF Website. This includes tying in all the stores into the built in E-Commerce as well as collecting and storing aggregated information at the Enterprise Level. Please see the attached quote. You're welcome! Have a super weekend! Just as an fyi I hired a Canadian tech near the Square One Mall to physically pay Yogen Fruz a visit and look at an issue that Eric was having. Basically Eric reported that the Mall had experienced a power surge and afterwards adilas POS was experiencing random sluggishness. Tabriaz was able to diagnose the issue and Eric is happy again :) Tabriaz replaced a surge switch and updated the RAM to 8G from 4G. All new units coming into Canada will now have the upgraded RAM as Tabriaz says this helps with the Ethernet / Roger connectivity. MIssissauga, ON L4W 4L9 416.900.4363 (Tabriaz Cell)

Internet/Freezing Concern: No hardware-related freezing was detected. Based on what the sales representative reported and images shared, the issue appears to be related to internet connectivity. As part of basic troubleshooting, I disconnected the Ethernet cable from the network switch and connected it directly to Port 2 of the Rogers modem. This is to bypass potential issues with the switch or internal network.

Good evening! Quick report on the gift cards. All of the data has been imported into adilas and shows up on both the Yogen Fruz - enterprise system and the Square One system. Sean can help with some training, as needed. Here is a small recap: The original file (fran_giftcards_original.xlsx) was given to me by George. It had a bunch of duplicate data in it. We got it all cleaned up and pushed up live to the server. Originally, there were over 22,000+ records worth over $149,000+. Once we got it all cleaned up and all duplicates correctly recorded, we ended up with just over 12,000+ unique gift cards with a current value of just over $72,000. Here are the real values, if you want them... Feel free to check the different files. Original with duplicates: 22,674 lines totaling $149,330.47 (current value with duplicates) New cleaned up records: 12,157 lines totaling $72,938.31 (live and online with all duplicates removed) Next, we will start looking at some of the reports that Phillip needs.
