On 11/24/20 I was going server by server and transferring/cascading all of the tables. It sure would be cool if we added some last modified dates to all of these records... There is no reason to transfer 4,000+ records every time. We only change a few (adds or edits) at a time. Wouldn't it be better if we just transferred/cascaded the records that have changed. That would be much more efficient. Anyways, just an idea and an option. That wouldn't be too hard to do, there is already standard pages that allow for things to be added or updated. Add in another switch, piece of data, and record the date last modified. Then maybe record a master date and do look-ups accordingly. This could be done for all existing and new tables that we are trying to sync up and keep standard. It would really help efficiency in a lot of ways. I'm spending just shy of an hour, every time I have to do this. There may also be other ways to help keep things in sync, if we looked into it. Maybe an automated sync or something. |

We need to add all of the new sub special account tables (loyalty points, gift cards, in-store credit, etc.). We also need to add the taxes and withholdings stuff like fed_state_allowances, federal_tax_tables, and state_tax_tables. |
