Special Account Rules Setup
The rules of a special account are setup by default when you turn one or more special accounts on from the admin manage special accounts page. Use this page to view the current rules and/or to change the existing values of a rule. Without getting super technical, the rules are setup by the developers (coders) to be a certain type and a certain value. There should be some validation to keep you on the right path, but not all values are simple text entries. There may be numbers, decimals, ratios, lists, toggle on/off switches, dates, etc. If you ever get lost, use the copy from default button to restore it to the original value. As a note, the original value means what the developer set it to be, not what your corporation is using.

Use the drill-down links below the form to select which rule you would like to look at and/or edit. As a special note, if something is not working like you want it to be, make sure and check the status value. If set to inactive, that is like turning that rule or feature off.

Special note on start dates - If your special account requires a start date, make sure and push it out in the future until fully ready. If the date is in the past (lower date), the system will think that all lights are green and may begin to process things before you are fully ready. This is just a warning, make sure everything is good to go and then change your start date. It will help you keep your data and launch tidy.
