AU 1457 Daily Tasks 8/13/2009   • Went in to meet with Steve. Talked about current needs and where we want to go. We did some brainstorming and decided that we need to find some stable ground and get some money. We set up a spectrum and talked about where we are at:

Wish/Dream ------ Real/Actual ------ Suppress/Deny
• We then came up with the fact that I will need to stop working full-time for adilas and get some other web work. We then decided that the system “is what it is” and all other parts (or requests) need to be billed out at $100/hour and ran through me. We then quote, require ½ down, document and deliver. 10 miles.

AU 1472 Daily Ideas 8/13/2009   -Huge break through on where we need to go and how we can get clients and users to help pay for us to develop the adilas system.

AU 1473 Daily Ideas 8/14/2009   -On payroll:
- Remove top forms (4 of them)
- Default bank stuff
- On “get reports” maybe think about pdf and automated pdf docs (archived for each user/payee) and allow them to do the look-ups. This helps going green and for audit trail. The “get reports” links are on the calc payroll page.
-Need to be able to check on late invoices. Basically enter a number of days old and be able to find invoices that have not been paid yet.
-On all customer pages add links to year-to-date statement or options to create new statements.
-On all customer pages add links to all quotes.
-On statements, we need a printer friendly version like the invoices.
-On the follow-up logs, add validation for follow-up-time of 00:00:00.
-Change all cf functions to output=”no” for web services.
-Take out the underscores in all web service calls and paths.
-Make sure all number values (with decimal points) are formatted correctly. This deals with SQL inserts and updates.
-Create the other side of the flex grid (other links and relationships).
-Allow flex grids to be show on the customer side. For example: parts and stock units. This could get complicated with what to show and/or hide.

AU 1474 Daily Ideas 8/18/2009   -Work through the logic on e/r line items and payments made for PO’s and stock/units. Currently, there is no way to back out on payment or zero out an amount.
-Maybe allow for a corp-wide setting that lets a user tie to a PO without the system recording a PO payment. Default will be tie and make payment.
-Allow for two main sections to be customizable
- Customers – (customers, clients, patients, contracts, consumer, contacts, etc.)
- Parts – (parts, labor, services, accessories, products, widgets, options, etc.)
-Add a flash video to the main homepage that gives a quick rundown of what we do and who we are. Sell the system Features, Advantages, Benefits!!!
-Add additional security to adilas pdf’s. Known hole for unauthorized use (switching corps w/o permissions).

AU 1475 Daily Ideas 8/21/2009   -When searching for vendors, show link to payables for that vendor similar to customer and receivables.
-Maybe allow for horizontal logos. 166 _w x 83 _h vertical logos would create a problem with spacing.
