	Shop 727		Calvin Chipman	5/4/2016	Quick call with Calvin to touch base on some new files he put up for Emerald Fields. We also talked about the potential for the new Java enabled ColdFusion extensions (hooks into the bigger Java server and Java engine that runs below the ColdFusion server).

Both Shawn and Bryan worked on the dynamic lat and long for the web API browser tracking stuff. We started into the refund process, but ended up bailing out of it because it had the wrong general flow. I turned the pages back to Bryan to rework the page flow.

	Shop 924		Adilas world projects	5/5/2016	Shawn and I were trying to do some planning on Hypur. We ended up on a multi-hour meeting between Shawn, Russell, and myself on personnel and people stuff. Basically, we were talking about how to divide and conquer. I have tons of post-it notes from the meeting. Most it was dealing with how to we manage the shop, who reports to who, what are the expectations, and how do we hold people responsible for those actions. Here are some notes - no specific order: - Basecamp analogy - leave the maybe's in the air - focus on the definite's and the for sure's - we want to hit those.

	Shop 1304		Quotes with Dave	5/5/2016	On a GoToMeeting session with Shannon and Dave. We did some light quoting and then I had to help Russell with a number of financial documents for an investor. After the quoting session, Dave and I talked about the shop and personnel stuff. We went over some ideas and just chatted for a good half an hour or more. Good session. Dave has been a huge help in leadership, consulting, and helping me figure things out. Great asset.

We went through projects A and B together. We then took a break and I worked on other emails and tech support stuff. After that, we got Alan on the line and went over project D - the task queue. We did a GoToMeeting session and brainstormed on what was still needed. Productive work session between myself, Shawn, and Alan. Hopefully the first of many like this.

	Shop 1308		Emails & general stuff	5/6/2016	On a phone call with William Tew (Adam's brother). William and his brother, Hyrum Tew, are working on a small project to help us collect and start the quoting process. Basically, a special contact us page that ends up dumping data into an element of time to start the project management process (incoming project funnel of sorts). Anyways, I got a small demo and talked with William about the process and what they have gotten done to this point. We looked at a local copy of the project and then went over some of the code. We then talked a little bit about project management, task management, and how best to do things like that. Good call. After that meeting, I have been doing emails and playing catch-up on different things. I also sent some information out to Bryan on his Hypur projects.

	Shop 1144		Working on Hypur projects	5/9/2016	All day working on Hypur projects. The first part of the day was spent with Brandon and Alan working on the main invoice post for new invoices. We were converting from SOAP/XML to JSON. Lots of testing and going back and forth. We were on the phone multiple times with Hypur. The last half of the day was spent with Bryan working on the flow for the payment refund API method calls and page flow. Lots of reworking and light testing.

None of this got done, we were on the Hypur project all day. 1. on the add_edit_sub_inventory.cfm page * increase the RFID tag field when adding children, the field is about 7 or 8 spaces short of being able to view the entire 25 space tag. 2. * yellow * simple_part_search.cfm - needs 'parent inv' & 'suv inv' in heading 3. Can we add the sub inventory to the Tiered buttons? * red **** smart button tiers

	Shop 1171		Quoting	5/10/2016	On a GoToMeeting session with Dave, Shannon, and Nick. We spent the whole time on quoting the soil testing project (time id # 1319 and # 1275). Dave and Shannon had done some good prep work and then we went through things and did some quotes. We did 3 different quotes for this project. Each ranged in price and complexity. Good session. Dave was running the session, Shannon navigating and taking notes, Nick chiming in and taking his own notes, and myself adding some more tech type specs to the projects. Good team effort and fun as well.

	Shop 1326		Hypur demo meeting	5/13/2016	Video conference with Hypur to go over pieces. We did a GoToMeeting session and went over progress and new features. Nothing major, just more going back and forth to get the process all figured out and smoother.

	Shop 1325		Soil Testing Demo - GoToMeeting	5/13/2016	Had a meeting with Cory (sales rep), Sarah, and Joanna - DBS Analytics - Soil Testing Demo. We used GoToMeeting and went over how we could configure the adilas system to help them get the laboratory results and data tracking that they needed. Nick Vaughn was on the call and helped out a ton. We showed the ladies a number of custom interfaces but they still wanted to see what things would look like in their industry. We said that we could create a mock-up, but it would run $500 to $1,000 - just to cover costs of doing the research, design, and mock-ups. The ladies had a hard time swallowing the cost to see a mock-up. To them, it felt like a gamble, to pay for something and not even know if it was right for them. Anyways, we showed them around, pitched some ideas, and then left it in their court. We'll see what happens as we go down the road. No major commitments were made on either side. Overall good demo. See attached for some notes that Nick took from the meeting. As a side note, we had previously quoted these ladies for a custom build out. They were having a really hard time with thinking that their monies and funds were going to building out parts of the system that they didn't need. We tried to show and tell them that their monies would be spent right in the section that needed some loving for them, not on the system as a whole. Sometimes people don't get our approach and what we are trying to do. I guess that comes down to more awareness and education. All is well.

	Shop 1464		Sub inventory error	5/14/2016	Go a report from Emerald Fields about an error for sub inventory. It got pretty deep. The error was happening on the update inventory counts page. It seemed to be a data type casting problem. Unable to fix it during this session.

	Shop 1146		Alan Time	5/16/2016	Met with Alan to go over some Hypur stuff. He is doing great and getting everything all signed off and merged together. He has really stepped up and is helping tons on bringing things together with this Hypur project. Good stuff. While Alan was working on Hypur stuff, I did some phone calls and added some notes to the next JaneFour20 project. It is a number of new API sockets. Both Bryan and Alan will be on that project.

	Shop 1329		russell	5/16/2016	Meeting with Chris Johnnie and Russell. We met in the side room and talked about goals and vision. Both Chris and Russell are trying to figure out what their next step is. I really want to see some of their stuff get finished, launched, and see them grow. That would be awesome. We talked quite a bit about how the 3rd party solution model could work inside of adilas and how things could go and flow. Good meeting. Lots of drawing up at the whiteboard.

We need to get in there and redo some stuff, but we have to have some time and money to jump into super deep. I keep telling the guys we have a path through the woods. We'd like to make it into a highway or good sized road. That will take some time and planning.

	Shop 1331		Trinity	5/16/2016	Met with Bryan and did some code sign-off on the Trinity Fasteners custom labels (special logos on custom sized labels). We finished up and pushed up the code after we did some testing.

	Shop 1172		Quoting	5/17/2016	Meeting with Shannon and Dave to do quotes. We went over the need to help standardize the training, setup, and consultants for adilas. If a company doesn't get a good consultant, they tend to fail or not do so good. We really need to standardize the onboarding process or orient new customers to expectations and helping them get setup for success. We then spent the rest of the time on a quote for A Touch of Style out of Texas. They sell handbags, jewelry, and other items. They were wanting some options for searchable backorder pieces and data collection. We listed out a number of ideas and had a good talk about the complexity of backorders and how quickly it can branch and branch. See time id # 1335 for more details on the quote.

	Shop 1327		Hypur demo - prep for production	5/17/2016	Demo with Hypur. It was quite long and pretty drawn out. They put us through the paces today. The demo was step by step and very detailed. They asked tons of questions and we tried to answer questions as possible. They had a number of complaints with the payment process. We have showed them before but they never said anything until this session. They wanted us to show photos of the customers, break the page flow into multiple parts, and change a few other things. Thy had questions on invoice locking, the task queue, and the ability to request data (add back to the task queue). It was pretty long and we all felt like we got beat up after the demo and show and tell session. A number of new tasks were assigned and some clean-up on the other tasks was reviewed.

	Shop 1337		API	5/17/2016	Had a brainstorming meeting with Alan and Bryan to go over the adilas API sockets and how they work. We used the whiteboard (wall) and went over the different flow options. We went pretty deep into concepts, flow, and checkpoints. The goal was to get both of those guys into a new project that was dealing with 4 new API sockets. The client is JaneFour20. Good session.

	Shop 1029		Brandon - Working on own projects	5/18/2016	Emails, tech support, and small bug fixes. I had to login and get current tax tables from data 0 and push them out to data 4. Somehow we were missing something. That seemed to fix the payroll problem on data 4. I then worked on the Full Circle customer API stuff and added a sub query to help with a last purchase date. The original code came from Seth Johnson from Full Circle. I tested and posted new files online. I then did some vendor merging for J&J Trailers and J&J Motorsports. Other emails and tech support stuff.

	Shop 1338		Shawn	5/18/2016	Helped Shawn get his local database up and running for payroll and such. He had installed a different version of the database and it was missing 2016 tax values.

	Shop 737		Calvin Chipman	5/18/2016	On the phone with Calvin. He has a client that would like him to add some new sub inventory (sub) rules. One of the things is dealing with barcodes and how to sell out of the oldest package first. Another one is dealing with visibility of the subs. By default, the subs are somewhat hidden until someone clicks the link/button that says show subs. The page then shows that part of the data and waits for the user to interact. We have had a couple of companies want us to show all subs automatically, only show open subs, or leave as is (hidden by default). More rules and settings. They also expressed some interest in being able to sort sub inventory (not sure how deep) when showing the sub inventory values. All of these sub rules and sub settings would need to be held on the sub inventory template level. These are tied to the main part categories table.

Lots of new code to add comments, hints, trimming, spacing, and alphabetizing arguments. Trying to help standardize the methods, functions, internal API calls, and the output for sub inventory.

	Shop 934		Adilas world projects	5/19/2016	Working with Russell on some email and ecommerce settings. We did an email tutorial on how to do an HTML invoice over JSON. Recorded a small video on the subject. Good session.

	Shop 992		Brandon out of the office all day	5/20/2016	Worked from home. Bryan came over and we worked on two different projects. We spent quite a bit of time going over his API socket project for Jane. It was dealing with searching out part numbers and inventory items. The new changes were dealing with being able to search system special line items (unlimited items). Lots of code review and work. As we were working, we got a number of phone calls from Jane about other API's and tech support type stuff. We then prepped for conference call with Hypur. We got on the call and started to show the work and changes. It went ok, but we ran into a couple of questions and bugs. After the conference call, we got on the phone with Alan and went over what was said and new requests for the application. With Alan, Bryan and I talked about the two main projects we are on. We went over the Hypur stuff, new requests, and direction. We then jumped right into the Jane project and talked about API socket stuff. The last half of the afternoon was spent with Bryan and I working on the main addCustomer API socket. The method already exists inside the secured environment, but had not been exposed to the outside public. It has over 40+ arguments. We went over ways of simplifying, defaulting, and dynamically allowing options to be added and/or left off. With that being the case, we spent a ton of time working on defaults, looking things up, and helping to standardize the process. Throughout the afternoon, we had a number of other contacts from the developers at Jane that needed help with getting to the API's, turning things on, and testing connections. When you mix all of these things together, the day was very busy and kinda crazy.

	Shop 1339		Demo meeting with Hypur	5/20/2016

	Shop 1346		addCustomer API socket	5/21/2016	Bryan came over to my house and we worked on the addCustomer API socket. We spent most of the time working on standardizing the process and doing code sign-off. We debated on going in different directions but ended up going with the harder right way. By the time we were done, it felt so much better, even though it was harder to begin with. Our goal is to get it right and then setup a standard to go from.

	Shop 1347		Recording notes and merging code	5/21/2016	Recording notes from yesterday and today (thus far). Started working on migrating code and doing some sign-off for Bryan and Alan's code for the Jane project. Alan added a number of new cool and dynamic search options for customers and corporations. Cool stuff.

	Shop 1348		Code sign-off for some new API's	5/21/2016	Finished up some code sign-off for some new API sockets for the adilas API. Alan Williams was working on some new dynamic "getters" for customers and corporations. Basically, the methods are very flexible. You give it the corp id number and then let it know what fields you would like back. The methods then validate things and return the correct data that was requested. Pushed up about 10 new pages and did some light testing and documentation for the web/API stuff.

	Shop 1148		Alan Time	5/23/2016	Working on standardizing the adilas API calls. We have found three different ways that people are building and setting up the API socket calls. We are trying to figure out what way is best and how to set a standard for the API socket calls. going through a couple of files to run some tests on what we've found.

	Shop 1345		API	5/23/2016	Working with Bryan on API socket documentation. We spent some time on the addCustomer method and then the simpleCustomerSearch method. These are both part of our current projects we are doing.

	Shop 1237		Sub Inventory	5/23/2016	On a GoToMeeting session with Danny Shuford. We were doing some code stuff on PDF labels and such. I then helped Bryan and Alan get adilas API socket documentation up and prepped for the Jane project - 4 new API sockets.

	Shop 1350		Email and Documentation	5/23/2016	Numerous emails back and forth between us and Jane. They are actively working with our API sockets. Helping and working on the API socket documentation. Pushed new files and documentation (database tables) to all servers. More emails and letting Jane know that their project had been released. Busy day!

	Shop 1352		Signing off on code with Alan	5/23/2016	On a GoToMeeting session with Alan. We were looking over new changes for Hypur and doing some code sign-off. We spent quite a bit of time on the task queue as well as on the Hypur payment solution.

	Shop 1173		Quoting	5/24/2016	Quoting projects. On a GoToMeeting with Shannon. Dave had to do some other stuff today. We went through a few quotes and did some brainstorming on what is needed and how to best play going forward. We made some to do lists and talked a lot about resources and maintenance needs. That seems to be somewhat left on the sides or has a lower priority. That same maintenance could really help us out and make things better and better and smoother and smoother. I'm voting for maintenance.

	Shop 1351		Hypur Demo	5/24/2016	On a GoToMeeting demo with Hypur. We showed them a number of new tweaks and feature requests. They still had a number of questions and made some more requests. We are slowly getting to the finish line. It is kinda frustrating because both parties are building and changing as things roll out and evolve. All in all, things are ok, we are all just getting done with this project and need to get it all wrapped up and finished. Alan, Shawn, and I were on the call. Reading over a new document that Bryan put together about making and creating the adilas API sockets. The document was added to time id # 1355. Great starting point for working with the adilas API sockets. Good stuff.

	Shop 1030		Brandon - Working on own projects	5/25/2016	Emails, tech support calls for developers, and reading through documentation that was created for Hypur and the new changes that we have been working on. Alan did the documentation and it has screen shots, info, verbage, and explains a number of the features. It looks great. We reviewed it and sent it on to Hypur. I also got on a tech support call (GoToMeeting session) with Tiffany from JaneFour20. We were logged into the live data 3 server and running some raw database queries. I then put together some screen shots and sent them out to the Jane Team. Light help around the shop. Different small questions here and there from the developers. I also approved Bryan's first mini internal bid to do an adilas API socket clean-up project. He did quite a bit of research on the pages and put together a nice spreadsheet of the info and estimates of costs and time for each piece. I was impressed.

	Shop 1238		General	5/25/2016	Spent the afternoon helping out JaneFour20 with some of their existing API socket calls. I was on a GoToMeeting session with Tiffany, then looking over code, comparing live and local files, emails, and tracking things down. I also helped developers with small questions and such. I did a couple of phone calls and tech support stuff. I also worked on a refinance business loan application for adilas. We would like to refinance some of our current payables and restructure our payback model. Good stuff.

	Shop 1324		Adilas World/ Adilas for Business	5/25/2016	Nick was here at the office working. He had a couple small questions but was mostly working on his own. I used the time to push some of my own projects forward.

	Shop 1356		Loan prep work	5/25/2016	Gathering documents for a possible SBA loan for adilas. Tons of different documents, numbers, and references. Uploading documents to a special website for the loan application.

	Shop 1149		Alan Time	5/26/2016	Going over new changes in the Hypur project. We looked at code and then we went in and did some playing with the new features. We ran through scenarios and popped around to the different pages and sections. Good Hypur session. After that, Alan and I switched over to Russell's ecommerce projects. We talked with Russell and then went into options for new cfc/function, brain type flow, and how to help with special taxes and shipping. We spent quite a bit of time going over shipping flow and concepts.

	Shop 1353		Hypur Demo	5/26/2016	Met with Hypur for a final passoff. We went over a few different things and reported on changes and requests. They had one item that still needed to be tweaked so we took some notes. We then showed them some other parts of the system that they weren't aware of. Short and good session.

	Shop 3449		Virtual Post-It Note	5/26/2016	-On part categories, ( and sub part categories ), add an ecommerece photo option, ecommerce description option, and an ecommerce sort option, maybe even a show/hide option. ( did some of this with Russell on 5/31/16 )

	Shop 743		Calvin Chipman	5/26/2016	Phone call with Calvin. We went over a rough game plan for getting into sub inventory. Calvin is going to watch a small video, read some documents, and then do some looking into the code set.

	Shop 1359		API stuff	5/26/2016	Helping Bryan with some adilas API socket stuff. He got a couple of the easy ones done and then landed on a hard one. It had a number of problems and issues. I worked with him to help him get some ideas on how to tackle and even work backwards on some of the problems. Basically, start with the goal and then work the arguments, params, validation, and defaults backwards to go from the goal to real life.

	Shop 939		Adilas world projects	5/26/2016	Working with Russell on his ecommerce settings. We worked on the logo and default image uploads today. The other day we did a small session on this same subject. Today we reviewed and actually started building the new pages and pieces.

We were working through special problems, custom stuff, and making sure that the we are building for the future. We also talked about making the building process into a small assembly line type process. Bryan will do what he can and then pass things off to me to help him and/or finish things up. I'd love for him to be able to go from A to Z but maybe if he hits what he can, that will prep things and make it easier for me to circle around and finish things up. Good plan.

	Shop 993		Brandon out of the office all day	5/27/2016	On a phone call and GoToMeeting session with Steve to go over how to pass data from adilas to outside parties. We built some small test pages and did lots of testing. The session went really well until we ran into a problem on how ColdFusion sends JSON values to the other 3rd party servers. We spent the last half of the session doing research and trying different things. Lots of testing of something that should be quite simple. It seems that ColdFusion is flipping some things behind the scenes and making it difficult.

	Shop 1361		General web consulting for Bridgerland	5/27/2016	Went in to Logan and met with a couple different people about a general web site for Bridgerland Applied Technology College and the Custom Fit Department. BATC already has a big huge web site, the Custom Fit Department wants more control and new look and feel. We talked about steps and how to advance the ball a bit. After talking, we decided that adilas and the dynamic options that we can help with will be more of a phase 2 type action. We ended up talking about how to create a static web site with their current content and current team. Good discussion and hopefully it will produce some future business. I really enjoyed being the consultant and helping the people get what they wanted and needed vs. just pitching our tool that may have been too heavy to carry for them at this time. Interesting stuff.

	Shop 1360		Working with Steve	5/28/2016	On a GoToMeeting session with Steve going over ways to push and pull data using ColdFusion for other API sockets that we need to connect to. We talked a lot about different options, pros, cons, limitations, and advantages. We were working on the Colorado Metrc API. Lots of testing and trying to show what is going on. See attached for a small txt file that had some of the options and things we were talking about. More info was added to the media/content notes about JSON vs. octet-streams, etc. Techy stuff.

	Shop 1174		Quoting	5/31/2016	Quoting projects with Shannon and Dave Forbis. Shannon was taking notes and writing things down while Dave and I went over specifications and details. We did some new quotes and went through some internal quotes and going over some light processes. Good session. Shannon will end up helping Dave and I follow through on some of the other things that are on the edges. She is on top of things.

	Shop 1375		API	5/31/2016	Working with Bryan on some errors on the quick part quantity search (API socket). We found that some of the logic pieces had not been wrapped with proper error handling. If everything was good to go, there was not errors. However, if there was an error higher up in the code, the bottom part failed due to the lack of additional checks in the logic. We also looked at other pieces of code and did some light sign-off. As part of the research, Bryan had an idea on returning an error as soon as possible, similar to how a normal function works (return something vs a simple abort). Currently, we only have one exit or door on the adilas API socket calls. This exit or door is at the very end of the API socket call. Ideally, we could create a function that would finish things up and push things out the door at any time. That way, we could call it right when an error occurs. The code would then gather up and convert what it can (back into JSON or XML) and then send it out the door to the caller. That might make things a little bit cleaner and more straight forward. Anyways, just an idea.

	Shop 3450		Virtual Post-It Note	5/31/2016	IDEA FROM BRYAN -On the API, we only have one conversion process back to JSON and XML . It might be cool if you could get an error and send it back to the converter process immediately, Think of how a cf return in a function works.

	Shop 746		Calvin Chipman	5/31/2016	Call about sub inventory and sub part categories. GoToMeeting and showing calvin around the database and the part categories section. We looked up Jake's branch for JBV-1 for the sub part category stuff.

	Shop 942		Adilas world projects	5/31/2016	Working with Russell on his ecommerce stuff. We covered a couple of different topics. Some were on emails and contact us forms and others were dealing with new photos for part categories. We recorded a session (screen capture video) to add web descriptions and default part/item category photos. We went through that project from A to Z and got things done. Russell's stuff is looking pretty good and will be really cool.
