• Small fix on the switch between basic live PO’s and special live PO’s. Able to switch back and forth now with no problems. Posted files online.

AU 109 Daily Ideas 4/7/2010   -When doing corp-wide settings – hide/show correct options, report types, etc. for vehicles, trailers, toppers, etc. use the inventory types and hide/show payroll, commission, and report types that deal with units (if applicable). If they don’t use it – hide it completely from view.

AU 91 Daily Tasks 4/8/2010   • Went in to a company and did a demo for the manager, the owner, the owner’s wife and another associate. Lots of questions and a great meeting. As far as the demo, I only got to show a very small part of the system. We went over PO’s, parts and shopping cart. I was also able to show them the pre-built customer web pages. We spent a lot of time talking concepts and actual flow. We also went quite heavily into barcode reading and point of sale stuff. We ended the meeting and they said a verbal “GO”. I promised them a quote and a hardware recommendation list. Good stuff. 10 miles.
• Went out to Poncha to meet with a customer. We started working on their bank balances and such. Good meeting and we covered deposits and expense/receipts. We used lots of advanced searches, verify options and bank reconciliation stuff. We also spent about 20 minutes talking about history and future of adilas. 5 miles.
• Research on thermal transfer receipt printer.
• Worked on some barcode stuff.
• On the phone with Steve going over a request for the customer log report. We also talked about barcodes and both of our successes today.
• Went in to town and worked with a customer on adilas stuff. We did balance sheet stuff; flex grid stuff, customer logs, corp-wide settings, banks, etc. Great meeting. 10 miles.

AU 92 Daily Tasks 4/9/2010   • Working on quotes for a company. Created a general system quote and a hardware report. Spent quite a bit of time getting the hardware requirements on paper.
• An associate came over and we talked some strategy for this company. We talked about barcodes, receipt printers and migration stuff. While chatting with this associate, the manager from this company called and we chatted for a bit. We have an appointment tomorrow at 3:00pm to start the process.

AU 93 Daily Tasks 4/10/2010   • On the phone with Steve going over inventory management. We talked about options to duplicate PO’s, PO shopping cart (reverse flow on ordering), we also talked about retail point of sale stuff like barcodes and receipt printers. Good stuff! We also talked about some of our other client needs on invoices, customer time clocks and customer logs.
• Did some research on CrystalTech site about using ColdFusion and USAePay; not much there. I may need to dig deeper if eCommerce problem persists.
• An associate came over and both of us went in to town to meet with the manager of a company. We answered questions, did some training, did a little bit of data entry and talked a lot of theory; good meeting.

-Backorders (customers and vendors): backorders need an option to split PO’s and invoices so that it keeps pushing things forward.

AU 95 Daily Tasks 4/13/2010   • Testing and working on help files.
• On the phone with a customer going over settings and new corp-wide options for special line items.

• Playing with grouping options for the customer log.
• On the phone with Steve going over income statements. Also going over request from a customer to map to the expense side of things. We talked about barcodes and other things, good stuff.

AU 96 Daily Tasks 4/14/2010   • Working on a company’s logo.
• Fixed the customer log report to help group items and logs. It is set up to only show the last entry. Posted files online.
• Went in to a company to work with them. An associate and I helped them with a wireless router, answered questions, did some training and came up with some strategy stuff. I also added two new features. I added a retail pricing option to the printable PO’s and added the profit percentage to the global update tool. Posted files online. 10 miles.

AU 111 Daily Ideas 4/14/2010   Random note: My associate and I went in to another company and talked with them about adilas. They are in the process of moving to the Penny Pincher and would like to check it out in a week or so.
-Every page needs a roll call (where applicable) link. It shows how the line items tie in and where or how it shows up for roll call. Basically, this shows the roll call flags, dates and stamps.
-Along with this, we also need the reflexive side of the flex grid or where, what else is tied to it.

AU 98 Daily Tasks 4/16/2010   • Went in to town and went on a zip line trip. No tip, military.
• While in town stopped by a couple of companies. The one company is still pretty set with staying with their other system, yet is still willing to talk to us. Also stopped by a company using adilas just to check in. 10 miles.
• Working on a web layout for a company. Sent proof for review.
• For a company added the logo to all pages including the shopping cart. Added correct address info and updated contact and about us pages on the shopping cart. Sent an email update. Invoiced on 4/22/10.
• Worked on a Flash animation for a company.
• Worked on the P&L and special line items as an expense. Launched the new files.
• Updated help files for the new corp0wide setting.
• Sent an update to the interested customer about the new change.

• Playing with the mini receipt printer. Working on the global unit mark-up and pricing page.
• Went in to town and worked with a company. We spent some time talking PO, parts and vendors. Lots of theory. We actually did some work and drawings on paper. I have an appointment for tomorrow at 2:00pm. 10 miles.
