	AU 1277		Daily Tasks	2/4/2009	• Working on a company’s website. Made a number of changes, added a back end for sample orders, added new featured project section and worked on backend code. Small navigation changes. Lengthened the session time out to an hour. Posted files online and showed them a few of the changes.

Answered questions on statements and tie-ins between invoices and units (especially after the fact). • On the phone going over web services and what they do. Promised documentation within a week. • On the phone with Steve going over how to handle credits (credit homepage and system B.S. item). On the phone for over an hour. • Research on interacting with folders, paths and directories in ColdFusion. • Working on a company’s photo management stuff. Added a directory creator, extra validation, three upload photo sections, help files and other changes. Change database stuff, posted new table and changed folder names on FTP server. Invoiced on 2/10/09 for 19.75 hours.

Made it searchable and able to show up on invoices and quotes and shopping carts. • Added a new search permission for searching by customer business name. • Major changes to the navigation on the customer history page. • Uploaded pages, updated help files and emailed an update email to Steve.

Looking up old brainstorming notes on reoccurring invoices. • Small fix on advanced invoice search. Allowed both printable and non-printing notes to be searched. • Went in to the accounting office and talked with some associates about the balance sheet. Took the “Tag, I’m it” on the project and told them I would talk to Steve. 10 miles. • On the phone with Steve going over balance sheet items and how to help a company find a good starting point. • Writing an email about the meeting in the accounting office. • Started working on photo gallery pagination on big photos.

Add a ColdFusion hash function to the folder name.

	AU 1282		Daily Tasks	2/11/2009	• Made changes to the Java Script on the calc payroll page. It had errors due to a conditional field that would only show up on non-salaried folks. • Worked on big photo gallery pagination. Ended up showing all photos more than 1 with a link directly from the big photo page. Posted files online. • Brainstorming on reoccurring invoices. Spent some time working things out on paper and then going to the computer. • Added two new tables and started working on the new reoccurring invoice homepage.

	AU 2352		Brainstorming - Reoccurring Invoices	2/11/2009	Reoccurring Invoices: Step 1: Build an invoice exactly how you want it. This includes taxes, customer info, additional customer tie-ins, notes, dates, amounts, everything. This invoice will be duplicated exactly as is. Note, if you have taxable values, you need to create a new master invoice if the tax rate changes. Step 2: Go to the reoccurring invoice homepage. Click on the add new reoccurring invoice. Fill in the settings and assign the master invoice number to the new invoice created. Ideas on the add new reoccurring invoice page: (from layout - see scans in photo gallery – multiple pages) - Initial page: Show date range: - Flag current date - Only show days that need attention - Once we duplicate it, reset a date for next action - On an add, set first real duplicate date

We might do something like that as a work-in-progress type thing. We also talked about money.

	AU 1285		Daily Tasks	2/16/2009	• On the phone going over needs of our clients with Steve. • Worked on the duplicate multi and reoccurring action page. • Hid the add form on the parts homepage. • Did a cell phone to fax number conversion (which to show) and changed the 800 phone verbiage on invoices.

Following up on ladies with resumes for adilas. • Working on reoccurring invoices and printer friendly multi invoice. • Went in to a company and demoed on adilas. They started getting the picture and had a bunch of questions. Great demo and very productive. 10 miles. • Went in to town to meet with a contact. Demoed for them and had a great discussion. He has developed a ton of database systems and could see what was going on behind the scenes. Fun demo. 10 miles.

We talked about dealer needs “desk the deal” and “invoices going right to forms”. 50 miles.

Did some training on reoccurring invoices. • Went to the accounting office and talked with some associates about adilas stuff. There is a need for training on the site. 15 miles.

Cost = $50.00 Normal: - 2 parts are in inventory with a cost of $25/a part. - Add to invoice and sell for $50/a part at a profit of $25/a part. No pmt is made. - On I.S.: o I.S. revenue goes up by $100 and COGS goes up by $50. Assuming no other expense net profit goes up by $50. o Invoice does not show up on I.S. because it is a WIP - On B.S.: o B.S. inventory goes down by 2 or $50 o B.S. a/r goes up by $100 o B.S. net profit goes up by $50 o B.S. Stripped down invoice with no prices. -Reoccurring internals will go on the recipe/build homepage.

Good discussion and they seem really excited. Have a return appointment next Thursday. • Working on new changes for a company’s evals. Posted files online and did email update message for them.
